hand beast is the final boss fight of Elden Ring.

Coming right after Radagon of the Golden Order, Elden Ring saved its biggest boss for last, deploying the Elden Beast to confront players at the end of the game’s story.

The fight against the Elden Beast is a tough battle of attrition, but since Spirit Ash summons are available in this boss fight, we highly recommend using them wisely.

How to Prepare for Elden Beast

The preparation of the Elden Beast changes depending on the version you are using. If you’re using a Sorcery build, you’ll want to use Guidance Spells, and Powerful Spells.

Alternatively, you’ll need a powerful weapon that you can wield with two hands to fight the Elden Beast. However, it is important to ensure neither the spells nor the weapons you use inflict Holy damagebecause the Elden Beast is resistant to this element.

Elden Beast Tips: How to Beat Elden Beast

Wow, where to start. The Elden Beast is a tough boss fight, for the simple fact that it has a lot of health and hits like a tank. Starting with the sword, the boss can use it in quick attacks of two, potentially followed by a third knife attack.

These attacks are fairly easy to dodge if you time the roll to start just as the sword descends towards you, and make sure you don’t get caught under the boss’ body when the downward knife attack is launched.

The blade can also be powered by Holy damage, as the Elden Beast fires four or five waves of light at you from its sword.

These can be quite difficult to dodge, and you’ll want time your dodge roll so that you dodge at the last possible moment before the holy barrage hits you.

When the boss rises into the air and flies above you, turn off your target lock on the Elden Beast and look down on the ground. A ring will form around you and several waves will begin to pulsate over you.

You have to time your jumps to be transported safely on the rings of Holyand the less health the Elden Beast has, the more rings you’ll need to jump over in order to safely exit the circle alive.

The Elden Beast can shoot a barrage of holy particles from its body, which will shoot high into the air and head towards you. Your goal here is to sprint around the boss in a circular motionthus you avoid all the projectiles.

However, there are plenty to avoid, so you’ll want to leave sprinting until the last moment to maximize your stamina reserves.

The boss actually has another projectile attack, but this one is much harder to deal with. This time, slower stars will come your way, but there will be many more.

Some tactics actually recommend sprinting away from stars and then dodging them, and that’s a tactic that can work, provided you have plenty of stamina to work with.

Finally, the boss will imbue his non-sword hand with Holy, causing him to grab you.

You will want dodge roll sideways out of this attack at the last possible momentas it is one that can potentially be catastrophic if you are at half health or less.

Once you’ve chosen a starting class (like samurai) and a starting souvenir item, you first need to figure out how to level up, how to respec, and how to use Ashes of War and Attribute Scaling. If you want to improve your prowess, we recommend farming runes – especially before facing Magrit, Godrick the grafted, Crystalian, Leonine Misbegotten, Starscourge Radahn (required as part of the Ranni quest), Red Wolf of Radagon and Renalla Queen of the Full Moon after finding the location of the Glittering Stone Key.

Elden Beast Reward

When the Elden Beast has finally been slain, it’s time to bring the Elden Ring to a decisive end.

We won’t spoil the ending(s) here, but you will earn 375,000 Runes, and the Remembrance of the Ancient Beast item, which you can use at the round table for a new weapon/ability whenever you want.

Congratulations, you have completed Elden Ring! FromSoftware’s latest game is both challenging and expansive, and wrapping it all up by beating one of FromSoft’s toughest foes in recent memory is no small feat.
