Elden Ring Hero Fringefolk Tomb Location
The grave of the Fringefolk hero is located just south of Lake Agheel in Elden Ring, but to enter it you have to two stone sword keys to open the door guarded by the pair of imp statues. Once you activate the seal, the fog will disappear and give you access to the Tomb.
Elden Ring Fringefolk Hero’s Grave Walkthrough
Once you have used the two Stonesword Keys to open the door guarded by the pair of imp statues, go down the ladder which appears to find you in a huge pool of poison. Hurry across the pool to avoid taking poison damage.
Sprint through the poison to safe ground, but don’t roll, otherwise the poison will stick to your clothes). From a distance, you will recognize a sort of mechanical tank that comes and goes in the corridor, but only up to a certain point.
First, take a break and wait until your poison status bar is completely empty, then slowly move towards the tank to see how far you can go before it stops and turns around again. -round. You are safe in the side alcoves to a point.
When the tank goes down, grab x5 Poisoned Bone Bolts of the corpse in front of the slope. The new area begins behind the slope.
Run after the tank, go down the slope and hide to the side. The alcoves to the left and right are deep enough that you can protect yourself from the rolling wheels, but be prepared to face ghostly enemies that emerge from the shadows.
At the end of the first slope, turn right around the corner, but don’t get too excited. The tank also rushes around the corner and stays hot on your heels – but at least it flattens enemies in its path.
On the second slope, the tank turns around. This prevents you from picking up an item from a bridge-shaped spot. So what do you do now? Well, first of all, take note of this place, because the path branches off here.
At this point you can either:
- Continue across the bridge.
- Drop onto your side.
You need to dodge the bridge, so go down the first slope to the third alcove on the right. Wait a while while the tank still moves up and down its first track.
When the tank is going up, get off and roll down the second slope. The corpse along the way will also give you x1 Golden Rune (5).
Wait at the bottom again until the tank rolls upwards, then go around the corner to the left. Here, the slope descends to the left then rises to the right.
First take the right path which goes up. After another turn, this leads to a room with a special kneeling opponent. He keeps x1 Dragon Wound Grease (which grants special effects against dragons) and drops the Dragon Communion Seal after his defeat.
The path on the left leads deeper into the tomb, where you will be faced with more enemies. We recommend letting the tank knock them over, if you can.
At the end of this long path you will find a Marika Stake with a Mist Gate next to it. This means it’s time for an optional boss. However, there is still more to explore here, so if you want to make sure you get all the treasures available in Fringefolk Hero’s Tomb, you need to return to the crossroads early.
Do you remember this passage?
Here you can go down to end up in a mezzanine (or go down twice for a shortcut to the boss). A flamethrower is active in the tunnel, so you will have to briefly take cover in the right alcove. Also be wary of other imp enemies!
Behind the flamethrower, a passage on the left leads to two more imps near some coffins which contain x2 Flash Grease.
Straight ahead is an even larger room where two grafted scions await you. You can lure these enemies into the hallway with the flamethrower if you’re sneaky, which can help you take them out much faster.
In the room guarded by the grafted scions, you can collect the Erdtree’s Favor. This is an incredibly good talisman that increases your maximum HP, stamina, and equipment charge – so it’s worth getting it.
Then go down the bridge twice in the same room until you land on the ground, in the water. From there you can take the elevator to a familiar area.
The enemy on the left is a Castle Guard Ghost and he’s a bit tougher than the others you’ll have fought in the tomb, but defeating him will reward you. x1 Stone Sword Key.
Keep moving forward and you can also destroy the tank from here by shooting the pots hanging from the ceiling at the right time.
To do this, you need to pull the ropes from where they are hanging, and with the right timing, the containers will fall onto the tank and knock it out of the race once and for all. Destroying the tank rewards the Erdtree Greatbow and arrows x10.
Now it’s time to face the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave boss, the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
