Elden Ring Tombsward Catacombs Walkthrough
You can find the entrance to the Tombsward Catacombs at the point marked on the map below (north of the Lower Earth Tree), look northwest and you should see jellyfish on the rock wall below you. They mark the entrance.
Activate the “Forest of Tombs Catacombs” grace site behind the entrance and you will arrive directly in a room that requires a Swordstone Key to open. Defeat the skeletons and you will find the Nomad Warrior’s Handbook 9
The left passage will lead you to the boss door. Continue through the catacombs to the right, past more skeletons and back into a larger room. Deal with the skeleton archers, collect the materials and continue to the left.
You will arrive in a corridor secured by a flamethrower. Take cover in the alcove halfway up on the right and take 5x human bone shards of the corpse.
In the room with the flamethrower, continue left into a room where you first kill the skeletons and then pick up the talking head: “Thank you” on the corpse. Then return to the flamethrower and hit the pillar with the goblin heads to lower it.
Go upstairs, take the golden rune (2)
How to Beat Tombsward Catacombs Graveyard Shadow Boss in Elden Ring
You should first encounter the Graveyard Shadow on the Peninsula of Tears in this same dungeon.
If this happens anywhere else, you’ll be in Liurnia, in the Black Knife Catacombs. The graveyard plans there are much more violent and have massive skeletal support.
The Tombsward Catacombs boss starts off well. However, don’t get caught up in a close-quarters fight for too long. The Shadow deals bleed damage and has a few lightning attacks up its sleeve, which first eat up shields and then the red bar.
His spit trap that announces itself with a green orb above his head is also very nasty. Avoid it, or he’ll keep you trapped for agonizing seconds.
Your rewards for defeating the Graveyard Shadow in the Tombsward Catacombs are 2200 runes and the ashes of Lhutel the Headless.
