Fathier’s Race in Star Wars Outlaws is sort of the Outer Rim version of real-life horse racing. Naturally, in the underworld, betting is a way of life and often a vital way to earn a few extra credits to spend.

Additionally, if you want to ensure that you have the best possible chance of placing a successful bet on a Fathier in Star Wars Outlaws, you should really look for a fixed breed. However, this is not as simple as it seems, as you need to find a specific item to achieve this.

Without further ado, here is our Star Wars Outlaws Fathier Racing Explained And how to win fixed fathier races.

Fathier Racing is a form of sports betting in Star Wars Outlaws and its location is indicated by a small Fathier icon on your map if it is present in the area you are currently exploring:

When you arrive at the marked location, you should find a holotable projecting an upcoming Fathier Race. There will be a console on the side of the table that you can interact with, use it to open the Fathier Racing main menu.

On the left side of this menu is the list of Fathier who will be participating in the next race. You can scroll through each of them to learn more about them through their profile, which is a good thing to know before placing your bet.

The information you will get on a Fathier profile will be as follows:

  • Form – A general summary of the current situation of Fathier.
  • History of the race – Their rankings for the last six races.
  • Details – This includes their rider’s name, gender, age, height and weight.

When you are happy with the Fathier you have selected, it is time to place your bet on him. Another small menu will appear showing you the current betting options and what you can win if the Fathier you have chosen comes first.

Once you are happy with your selection, follow the instructions to place your bet and the race will begin. If you win, you will receive the credits due to you based on your bet, but if you lose, you will walk away with nothing.

However, there is one way to guarantee that you will win and that is by betting on a fixed race…

If there is a sign that says “Rigged Race” you will know that it is indeed a rigged race.

To win a fixed Fathier race in Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll first need to know the clue for that race. This is usually a detail that hints at which Fathier will win, like the name of their racer or their weight. Now, the clue itself can be found on datapads – so you’ll want to make sure to read every clue you come across as you adventure through the region.

Once you find the datapad containing the information, we highly recommend taking a screenshot or writing down its information for safekeeping, as it will not be accessible through your journal. (Don’t make the same mistake we did and don’t write it down…)

Then, once you know the deal, bet on the Father mentioned in the clue and you will win!
