Secure insider information from a drop dead is one of the week 6 resistance challenges in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
To complete this challenge, you must first complete the Week 5 Resistance Challenges and two of the Week 6 Resistance Challenges, including setting up recon cameras.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 23k XP, which will help you unlock new Battle Pass skins.
Fortnite Dead Drop Locations Explained
Before you can secure insider information from a dead drop in Fortnite, you need to uplink a device near Chonker’s Speedway, Logjam Lumberyard, or Seven Outpost III.
After that, you’ll be tasked with finding the Dead Drop – luckily all of the Dead Drops are pretty close to where you started this Fortnite challenge. This means that unless you are unfortunately eliminated before reaching the dead drop, you can complete this very quickly.
Chapter 3 Season 2 is here! New additions include the Prowler skin, Cow Catchers, red and blue lines on the Fortnite map, and rebuild quests, including finding and destroying an IO build jammer and recovering battle bus blueprints missing. There are also resistance quests to complete, including securing information from dead drops, planting wire traps, retrieving a data drive, and setting up direct relays. Jetpacks are also back! The dead drop at Chonker’s Speedway can be found near the shipping containers on the hill southwest of the south building at this location.
If you uplink the device near Logjam Lumberyard, head southwest, past the gas station nearby, to where the dead fall is at a small rest area along the road.
Finally, if you choose Seven Outpost II as a starting point, the dead fall near the coast directly southeast of the outpost
