Transmit data to the drone is one of the challenges of the Resistance in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
If you want to complete this challenge, you must first complete the resistance challenges in week 3 and the challenge “Deploy aquatic communication relays near Logjam Lumberyard” in week 4.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 23k XP, which will help you unlock new Battle Pass skins.
Drone locations in Fortnite explained
To start this Fortnite challenge, you need to visit one of six other outposts scattered around the map.
At each outpost, you’ll find a transmitter, and once used, The Imagined will task you with transmitting data to a nearby drone. There is one drone per Seven Outpost and you only need to transmit data to one drone to complete this challenge.
Chapter 3 Season 2 is here! New additions include red and blue lines across the Fortnite map and rebuild quests, including finding and destroying an IO build jammer and recovering missing battle bus blueprints. Meanwhile, the Victory Crowns and Character Collection have been reset, while there’s a new Victory Umbrella to find.
The drone at Seven Outpost on an island east of Sanctuary is the hardest to find. If this is your drone of choice, head to the roof terrace of the building and from there you will see that the building has a turret.
The drone is on top of this turret, and in order to reach it, you have to climb on it by sprinting and jumping at the right time.
If you are at Seven Outpost northeast of The Daily BurgleHead behind the northernmost building in this area and you’ll find the drone waiting for you.
The drone at Seven outposts west of Command Cavern is outside the one-story building.
If you visit the Seven outposts north of Logjam Lumberyardyou’ll find the drone on the east side of the one-story building.
At Seven outposts south of Condo Canyonyou can find the drone behind the northernmost building of the outpost.
Finally, the drone at Seven Outpost southwest of Greasy Grove can be found on the southern edge of the outpost – outside the building at the top of the hill.
