Fortnite Fuel Cell Locations
Before looking for fuel cell locations, you must first establish a Device Uplink near Outpost Seven by Command Cavern or Outpost Seven by Logjam Lumberyard.
Best to do at Seven Outpost by Command Cavern, as it’s closer to many Command Cavern Fuel Cells and easy to get to.
After establishing the Device Uplink near Command Cavern, go equip the backpack. It’s near two blue barrels near the wooden fence on the west side of the river.
After equipping the backpack, follow the nearby river east to the underground entrance to Command Cavern.
There are plenty of fuel cell locations in and around Command Cavern, but just pick up two fuel cells, and most slots contain two. We’ve highlighted some of the easiest places to find Fuel Cells in Command Cavern below.
You will find the first fuel cell immediately to the right of the underground river entrancenext to a table.
The second location of the fuel cell is directly east of the first, on a small slope, overlooking the water. The two fuel cells are next to two stacks of containers.
For the third fuel cell slot, head north from Command Cavern. You will find two fuel cells next to two stacks of containers near water. A fishing barrel and cooler are visible in front of the fuel cells.
The fourth and final easily identifiable fuel cell can be found on the east side of the command cave, near the large circular area filled with containers (and usually some IO Guards). Look for the small containers in front of a forklift to spot these last two fuel cells.
Chapter 3 Season 2 is here! New additions include the Prowler skin, as well as the return of jetpacks and Choppas. As we enter the final month of Season 2, it’s a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite. You can also complete resistance challenges, including collecting signal jammers and finding an energy fluctuation. Don’t forget the seasonal challenges, which include planting saplings and calling in an airstrike on a tank. Meanwhile, the Victory Crowns and Character Collection are back, along with a new Victory Umbrella to earn.
Where to return the backpack at Seven Outpost in Fortnite
Once you have collected two Fuel Cells, you must return the backpack to either Outpost Seven near Logjam Lumberyard or Outpost near Command Cavern, before it loses more than half of its fuel.
It’s easier and faster to return the backpack to The Seven Outpost by Command Cavern
To return the backpack, return to the two barrels near the wooden fence, west of the river, and hold down the required button when it’s close enough to complete the 23k XP quest.
Don’t forget – Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 ends with the Collision live event and if you want to know more about this season before it ends, check out our guides on character collection, how to unlock the The Prowler skin, get XP fast and control panel locations.
