To complete this Fortnite challenge, you will first need to find ice cream cone locationsthen visit three separate named locations on the Fortnite map and throw some ice cream.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 15,000 XP, which will help you unlock the new Battle Pass skins. Completing enough No Sweat Summer quests will also unlock bonus cosmetic items.
Fortnite ice cream locations and how to throw an ice cream cone explained
There are currently five different types of ice cream in Fortnite:
- Normal ice cream cone: restores health
- Spicy ice cream cone: restores health and increases movement speed
- Frozen ice cream cone: restores health and makes everything slippery
- Gourmet ice cream cone: restores health over time
- Lil-Whip’s Special Service: restores health and shields
You can find most of these ice cream cones as floor loot or in chests, but you are much more likely to find ice cream cones in coolers and ice cream machines. This means service stations and areas by large bodies of water are more likely to have more Ice Cream Cones than chest-rich areas, like Tilted Towers or The Daily Bugle.
However, for this particular challenge of throwing an ice cream cone at different named locations, we actually recommend landing at Condo Canyon. There is an ice machine located inside the western building likely to contain an ice cream cone.
Condo Canyon also contains many fast Whiplash cars, allowing you to quickly visit two other named locations.
Even if you only get a stack or two from Condo Canyon’s ice cream machine, you can actually take back an ice cream cone once you throw it, which means you don’t need it. only one to end this summer without a sweat. challenge.
To throw an ice cream cone, be sure to equip it from your inventory, then aim like you would a grenade. Just throw it anywhere inside three of the named locations shown on your map to complete the 15,000 XP challenge.
As an alternative Ice Cream Cone location, if you come across the SoFDeEZ Ice Cream Truck while exploring, you can find Lil Whip next to it. Get close enough to Lil Whip and he’ll start throwing ice cream cones at you.
The reason we don’t recommend looking for the SoFDeeZ Ice Cream Truck first when trying to locate Ice Cream Cones is that its location changes with each match, so it’s faster to land at a location with ice cream cones. coolers or ice machines to look for.
