Fortnite Lantern Festival is back for 2023, allowing players to embark on a bespoke island experience to earn exclusive rewards.
Lantern Fest Tour Island will be available in Fortnite for the duration of the event, and will even be added over time.

Fortnite Lantern Fest 2023 end date
Fortnite’s Lantern Fest 2023 started on March 22 and will run until the end until April 21.
During this time, you will be able to earn the rewards associated with the Lantern Fest Tour island and gain access to Lantern Fest store items and bundles. Additionally, there is the XXYJYXX Cup, which takes place on April 7th. Timing specific to your region can be found in the Competitive tab of the game.
Fortnite Lantern Fest Island Tour & Rewards
As part of Lantern Fest 2023, there will be a new island experience, created by Illusion Creative. It’s called the Island Lantern Fest Tour, and even has its own set of challenges. Complete them to earn the following rewards:
- lantern spray
- Cameo needs loot emoticon
- Dog Eat Spray for dogs
- Twilight Mosaic Envelope
You can access Lantern Fest Tour through the Discovery tab in-game, once it’s added. For now, it is still listed as “coming soon”. A second part of the island will be added on April 6, bringing even more challenges.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived and with it comes a new selection of Battle Pass skins! Also take a look at the next Eren Jaeger skin! Fortnite Lantography Contest and How to Enter
Finally, let’s take a look at the Lantography contest. Between March 22 and March 30you will be able to submit in-game screenshot images featuring lanterns.
These will be spread across the Battle Royale map during the event. Just take them and tweet them using the hashtag #LantographyContest2023. The top 15 entries will be chosen and the winners will receive the “Cameo Needs Loot” emote.
Note that you must be at least 13 years old participate.
