How to Get Web Shooters in Fortnite
There are currently two main ways to get web shooters in Fortnite. The first is to find them as floor loot. This means they can spawn just about anywhere on the map, just sitting on the ground waiting to be picked up. You are looking for a mythical item, shown in the image below:
The other way to get the Web Shooters in Fortnite is to visit Spider-Gwen in Slappy Shores. She is one of a handful of new Fortnite characters in the game and can be found on rooftops on the north side of Slappy Shores. You can talk to him and buy the web shooters for 600 gold bars.
How to Use Web Shooters in Fortnite
Once you’ve equipped the Web Shooters, aim for nearby objects until you see a white crosshair. Press the shoot button to attach a web. This will immediately start pulling your character upwards at high speed. Let go to make your character fly, you can then chain the swings. This is extremely similar to how the ODM Gear Mythic item works.
If you land on the ground and don’t send another web fast enough, your Web Shooters will enter a cooldown. Web Shooters also have ammo, which can run out. Once that number hits zero, you won’t be able to shoot any more webs, unless you pick up another Web Shooters item, ie.
Web Shooters are a mythical object entirely based on movement. They’re fantastic for moving around the map quickly, but are a bit harder to use than the aforementioned ODM Gear. Try chaining your swings together as you fly, as it’s a great way to spin around a battle and gain new positional advantages over your enemies.
Have fun using the new Spider-Verse web shooters in Fortnite!
