Genshin Impact 5.1 release date, 5.1 banners and events

THE Genshin Impact 5.1 Banner and Event Details have been officially announced for the latest patch, titled The Rainbow Destined to Burn.

In the first update since Natlan’s debut, we get a continuation of the Archon quest, a real birthday party for Nahida in Sumeru during this version’s main event, and other great updates of life.

Genshin Impact 5.1 release date and time

Genshin Impact 5.1 releases Wednesday October 9. It is expected to follow the usual maintenance schedule for new updates, with version 5.1 releasing at 4am (BST). Due to time zone differences, version 5.1 will be released in the United States on Tuesday, October 8 at 8 p.m. PT.

For other time zones, the Genshin Impact 5.1 release date and time East:

• West Coast of the United States: Tuesday, October 8, 8 p.m. (PT)
• Central United States: Tuesday, October 8, 10 p.m. (CT)
• United States East Coast: Tuesday, October 8, 11 p.m. (ET)
• Japan: Wednesday October 9, 12 p.m. (JST)
• Australia: Wednesday October 9, 2 p.m. (AET)
• UNITED KINGDOM: Wednesday October 9, 4am (BST)
• Europe: Wednesday October 9, 5 a.m. (CEST)

Genshin Impact 5.1 Banners

Version 5.1 Banners introduces the new 5-star character Xilonen and three 5-star replays.

Phase 1 of the Banner 5.1 Schedule Begins with a New 5-Star Geo Sword User Xilonenfeatured on her Forgefire Blessing Banner and returning 5-star Geo sword user Chiori featured on his woven banner Of Silken Clouds.

As usual, these 5.1 Phase 1 banners are running next to each other and are scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 9th to Tuesday, October 29th.

Next, in Phase 2 of the Banner 5.1 Schedule, we have the return of a 5-star Dendro Catalyst user. Nahidfeatured on her illumination banner The Moongrass, and returning 5-star Pyro polearm user Hu Tao on its Moment of Bloom banner.

These phase 2 banners should be released from Tuesday, October 29 to Tuesday, November 19, the day before the planned release date of version 5.2.

In summary, all 5 star characters new and old which you can wish for during 5.1 in Genshin Impact are:

• Xilonen (Forgefire’s Blessing Banner – Phase 1): New 5-star Geo character who uses a sword.
• Chiori (Silk Cloud Woven Banner – Phase 1): Returning 5-star geo character who uses a sword.
• Nahida (Moongrass Illumination Banner – Phase 2): Returning 5-star Dendro character who uses a catalyst.
• Hu Tao (Moment of Bloom Banner – Phase 2): Returning 5-star Pyro character who uses a polearm.

There will also be a new 5-star weapon in the 5.1 weapon banner: the Peak Control Song sword in Phase 1, Xilonen’s signature. While we don’t know in which phase they will be upgraded, three new 4-star weapons are also debuting in the 5.1 weapon banner:

• Robust bone (sword)
• Mountain reinforcement bolt (polearm)
• Fruitful Hook (Claymore)

Genshin Impact 5.1 Events

Genshin Impact 5.1 update includes:

• Natlan’s Archon Quest Acts 3 and 4 (additional 500 Primogems for completing them both during 5.1).
• Xilonen Tribal Chronicles story quest (additional materials from Primogems and Ascension rewarded for completing it in version 5.1).
• 400 additional Primogems for completing Natlan World Quests and completing Natlan Exploration progression (until the end of 5.2).
• New boss (Secret Source Constructor).
• Echoes envisaged for Zhongli and Keqing.
• New Genius Invokation TCG cards.
• Spiral Abyss skip function (skip floor 9 if you got full stars on floor 11 of the previous Spiral Abyss, and skip floors 9 and 10 if you got full stars on floor 12 of the previous Spiral Abyss ‘Previous Abyss).
• Can open multiple domain reliquaries at once.
• Sorting and filtering Improvements to the artifact filter.
• Improvements to sorting character ascension materials.
• Improvements to the crafting bench.

In addition to this content we get five events during 5.1:

• Chromatic Ode of Sweets and Roses – Main event consisting of numerous mini-games celebrating Nahida’s birthday in Sumeru. Rewards include a free 4-star Candace character.
• Aphid Treasure Trail – Combat Event.
• Pursuit Festival – Combat event.
• Reminiscent Diet: Thrill – Co-op combat event.
• Wonderful merchandise – Liben returns! Exchange materials for easy rewards that include Primogems.
