How to Collect Embercore Flowers
You must attack an Embercore flower to pick it up in Genshin Impact, as this causes the flower to bloom and reveal its Embercore flower core. No need to switch characters to attack the flower, as it will open regardless of what element you attack it with.
What is Embercore flower used for?
Embercore Flower is a Natlan cooking ingredient in Genshin Impact that you also use to solve environmental puzzles and purchase Natlan Weapon Blueprints. Specifically, you need x10 Embercore Flower (along with other materials) to purchase the following Weapon Blueprints from a Natlan Blacksmith:
- The Earth Shaker (Claymore)
- Rainbow Imprint (Polearm)
There are 29 Embercore flowers to find across Natlan, so you can only collect 29 at a time. To collect more, you must either wait two real-world days for them to respawn, or join another world in co-op and collect theirs.

Embercore Flower Locations in Genshin Impact
The Embercore Flower is found primarily in a diagonal line running from the Toyac Springs Underground Zone near the People of the Springs settlement to just north of the Sulfurous Veins Zone in northern Natlan.
The central cliff of the Sulphur Vein Zone is the easiest place to get Embercore Flowers.as it contains a bouquet of five flowers next to each other. Toyac Underground Springs is another easy farming location, but you must complete a world quest to unlock the area.

Sulphurous veins
Sulfurous Veins is one of the easiest places to get Embercore Flowers, as there is a group of five Embercore Flowers clustered next to each other on the middle cliff.
If you haven’t unlocked the teleport point on the western cliff yet, the fastest way to reach the top of Sulfurous Vein’s central cliff is to use a Tepetlisaurus’ Saurian ability to climb the cliff, or a member of the Children of Echoes tribe who can climb the cliff with their ability (such as Kachina).
Toyac Springs
There are five Embercore Flower locations in Toyac Springs. This is an easy place to farm them once you’ve unlocked the area, and it’s also one of the best places to farm Spinel Fruit, which is also needed to purchase craftable Natlan weapon blueprints.

To unlock Toyac Springs, you must complete the world quest “A Tale of Dreams Snatched from Fire”. To begin this quest, descend into the large hole in the ground just south of the Statue of the Seven of Ameyalco Waters in the People of the Springs area of Natlan.
Talk to Chikya at the bottom of the hole to pick up the quest that will take you to Toyac Springs.
