You have to solve mechanical painting puzzles as part of the Evermotion Mechanical Painting event in Genshin Impact if you want to earn rewards like Primogems and new furnishings for your Serenitea Pot.

How to Start the Evermotion Mechanical Painting Event
To access the Mechanical Painting puzzles and the rewards for solving them, you will need to be at least Adventure Rank 18 and have completed the Archon quest “Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom”.
If you meet these requirements, head to the gear symbol in the south of the town of Mondstadt and speak with Felix Yogue to kick off the Evermmotion Mechanical Paint event. Complete a small collection quest for him by killing all the Hilichurls just outside of town, then return to Felix to access the mechanical paint puzzles.
There is one mechanical paint puzzle available on the first day of the event, with a new puzzle added each day until Wednesday, August 17, for a total of six. You will then have until Monday, August 22 to solve all the puzzles and claim your rewards.
