THE Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 Banner and Event Details have been officially announced for the latest patch, titled Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue.
This update takes us back to the Luofu of Xianzhou to witness the War Dance ceremony, but things of course turn into more than just a quick trip, as the Astral Express crew gets involved in another problem on the Luofu. We’ll also be treated to the usual two banner phases and new limited-time events – with Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 banners featuring two new 5-star characters and a new form coming on March 7th.

Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Banners
There are two new playable characters making their debut in Banners 2.4: Yunli and Jiaoqiuwith 5 stars Huohuo and Sparkle return.
Phase 1 of the 2.4 Banner Program begins with Yunli and Huohuo. Yunli is a new 5-star physical attacker from the Destruction path on her Earth Throwed, Ether Curled banner, and Huohuo is a returning 5-star wind attacker from the Abundance path on her Bloom in Gloom banner.
All boosted 4 star characters On the banners of Yunli and Huohuo there are:
- Hanya (Physics, Harmony)
- Yukong (Imaginary, Harmony)
- Lynx (Quantum, Abundance)
These version 2.4 Phase 1 banners begin on Wednesday, July 31 and end on Wednesday, August 21.
In Phase 2 of 2.4, we then have Jiaoqiu and Sparkle. Jiaoqiu is a new 5-star Fire attacker from the Nihility lane on his Cauldron Contrivance banner, and Sparkle is a returning Quantum attacker from the Harmony lane on his Sparkling Splendor banner.
All boosted 4 star characters On Jiaoqiu and Sparkle’s banners there are:
- Hook (Fire, Destruction)
- Guinaifen (Fire, Nothingness)
- Arlan (Lightning, Destruction)
These 2.4 Phase 2 banners run from Wednesday, August 21st to Monday, September 9th, one day before a banner usually ends – so be sure to factor this in when planning your prints!
In summary, all the new characters and 5 star return The characters you can teleport to during 2.4 are:
- Yunli (Earth Launched, Aether-Wrapped Banner – Phase 1):New 5-star physical character from the Destruction path.
- Huohuo (Blooming Banner in the Dark – Phase 1):Return of the 5-star Wind character from the Path of Abundance.
- Jiaoqiu (Cauldron Invention Banner – Phase 2):New 5-star Fire character from The Nihility path.
- Sparkle (Sparkling Splendor Banner – Phase 2):Return of the 5-star Quantum character from the Path of Harmony.
Along with these new characters, we’re getting two new 5-star light cones in 2.4’s Brilliant Fixation banner. Yunli’s signature 5-star Dancing at Sunset from the path of Destruction, will run alongside his character Banner in phase 1 of version 2.4. Jiaoqiu’s signature, the 5-star These numerous sources The Nihility’s path will then unfold along its Banner in Phase 2.
Bygone Reminiscence Light Banner Features a Replay of Huohuo’s 5-Star Movie Night of Terror Path of Abundance Cone of Light during Phase 1 of 2.4 and 5 Sparkle Stars Land Escape Cone of Light of the Harmony Path during Phase 2.

Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Events
Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 update includes:
- New Trailblaze Continuity Mission.
- Xianzhou Luofu New District – The Prison of Chains.
- Yunli’s support mission.
- Gift Of Odyssey Check-in Event – 10 Star Rail Special Passes (ends September 9th).
- Planar Fissure Event for double Planar Ornament drops – August 14th – 21st.
- Garden of Plenty Event for Golden and Crimson Calyx Double Drops – August 30th – September 6th.
- Relic filters can now be saved.
- New quick lock and quick delete features for relics.
- Relic’s top and bottom recommendations.
- Recommended characters displayed for relic and planar ornaments.
- Advanced Access to Events and Missions – For those with at least Trailblaze level 21.
In addition to this range of permanent content, double drop periods and login events, we get three limited time events during Honkai Star Rail update 2.4. Here is a brief summary of these events in Honkai Star Rail 2.4:
Primaveral Blade Saga
The Primaveral Blade Saga begins on the day of Update 2.4, ends Monday, September 9and you must be at least Trailblaze level 21 to participate (or you can participate earlier through the Finality’s Vision feature). It is recommended, but not required, to also complete the Trailblaze continuation mission “Xianzhou Loufa – March to Mastery: A Star is Born” to better understand the story of the event.
Once the event is over, Saga of Primaveral Blade will be added to the Conventional Memoir event page, meaning you can play it from here if you miss its initial release dates, you just won’t get the limited-time rewards like Self-Shaping Resin.
As for the event itself, you must help March 7 train with Yanqing and Yunli in “Saga of Primaveral Blade” so she can duel Scott of the IPC. Scott was last seen at the Aurum Alley Hustle and Bustle event, but this time he’s trying to take over the alley by bragging about how good the IPC’s sword training is.
During the event, you must balance March’s various stats and complete encounters with familiar characters on the Xianzhou to prepare for battle. The end result is always a confrontation with Scott, but how it plays out is determined by the training and encounters March will experience during the event.
You get the usual Stellar Jade, Self-Shaping Resin, the new chat box style, and Tracks of Destiny for participating in the event, but the biggest reward is the three Eidolons of March 7th you get by completing the Primaveral Blade Saga.

Snapshot of Operation Memoria
Operation Memoria Snapshot starts on Wednesday, August 7, ends Monday, August 19and you must be at least Trailblaze level 21 to participate (or you can participate early through the Finality’s Vision feature).
The Pioneer runs into Randolph, another trash enthusiast on the Xianzhou Luofa. He wants pictures of majestic trash cans in different poses, which you must take while moving around the Luofa areas, just like in Pokémon Snap.
This is perhaps the most quintessentially Star Rail event Star Rail has ever seen.
Trailblaze: Friendship is Magic!
Operation Memoria Snapshot starts on Wednesday, August 21, ends Monday, September 9and you must complete the Trailblaze mission “Jarilo VI – Silent Galaxy” to participate.
Trashcans reign supreme in 2.4, as this is another event about the Trailblazers’ favorite method of waste disposal. This time, you’re back in Jarilo-VI to help defeat mysterious “unknown shadows” with the help of the citizens of Belobog and the Lordly Trashcans themselves.
The event is combat-focused, where you must play as specific characters in the role of “Magician” to summon a special “Trash Buddy” to fight alongside them. Whoever takes on the role of Magician changes their skill and ultimate to command their trash allies instead with new combat animations and effects.
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Release Date and Time
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 was released on Wednesday July 31. Version 2.4 followed the usual maintenance schedule and was released at 4am (BST). Due to time zone differences, version 2.4 was actually released in the US on Tuesday, July 30 at 11pm (ET).
