How to defeat Shigandang
The Shigandang fight revolves around manage your stamina reserve to save up enough to dodge their attacks while you perform a few combos. This boss’s gigantic arms and body are powerful tools that they will use against you. However, all this raw power comes at the cost of being extremely slowperforming all the movements of Shigandang very easy to dodge.
Throughout the fight, Shigandang is constantly trying to hit you with his hands and feet. While you don’t have to worry too much about these attacks, the best strategy for avoiding them – and for approaching the rest of the fight – is stay on your back. Shigandang’s slow rotating movements make it a very safe location. This position also makes you a difficult target to hit if the the boss tries to walk all over youwhat they might do when you are in front of them.
No matter how slow Shigandang is, the boss has a few tricks up his sleeve. When the boss performs a jump attack and hit the ground Or they raise an arm and a leg and hit the ground with thembe ready because These two movements are followed by another. When they use the first one, spikes come out of the ground. To stay safe, dodge when the boss is about to hit the ground and stay away from the stone pillars that appear. For the second one, just be ready to dodge a second time when the ground starts to glow. So you have to dodge the first attack and the next one. Be careful with both of these moves, because being hit by both attacks could kill you.
During the fight, Shigandang might also try to apply some wrestling moves. The boss has two body attack variants. One of them is a traditional frontal smash where they try to hit you with their entire body and the impact creates a shockwave that covers a large part of the arena. Keep this in mind because even if you are far from the boss, you could still be hit by the shockwave.
The second type of body move is when Shigandang leans and lowers his body towards you. He will usually perform this move when you are next to or behind him. Nothing to worry about with this attack, but avoid getting hit by it. The boss stays on the ground for a few seconds, giving you a good attack window after this move.
During the fight, Shigandang can use a three-hit combo or a short sweeping attack. These attacks are less common, but make sure you don’t get hit by them. If you find yourself in a situation where dodging isn’t an option, you can always use ImmobilizeThis not only prevents the boss from attacking you, but also creates a great opportunity to trigger longer combos.
