Breeding Anubis in Palworld is by far the easiest way to get your hands on this powerful Pal without having to go through the dangerous battle with its Alpha variant. Breeding allows you to take a safer route to adding this Pal to your Paldeck.
That being said, you may want to fight this Palworld boss to get the EXP gain and materials (as well as slight bragging rights) from defeating them. So we’ll show you where to find them and how to do it too!

How to Breed Anubis in Palworld
To raise Anubis in Palworld you will need build a breeding enclosureSO bake a cake before you even think about asking two of your friends to create a new one. Take a look at our Pal Breeding guide for a more detailed description of these steps.
You will also need to be level 7 and spend two ancient technology points for the recipe for an incubator. Then you will need the following items to build an incubator:
Once you have met the conditions above, we have found The best way to breed Anubis in Palworld is to mate a Celeray and a Relaxaurus. Remember, you need to make sure one is male and the other is female for the breeding session to work.
When you have your future parents, throw them both (literally) into the breeding enclosure you built and make sure your cake is in the box attached to the enclosure.
Now all you have to do is sit back and wait for the magic to happen. If you enter the pen, you should see a small icon appear below the large Egg panel. This will show you how long you have to wait until an egg is produced.
When the buddies are finished breeding, an egg will appear in the breeding enclosure. A huge rock egg should appear if you have raised Anubis.
Next, you will need to take the egg to your egg incubator and wait for this process to complete. Once that’s done, interact with the device to incubate the egg and you should have your own Anubis!
Breeding is the perfect way to get this buddy because you can give it certain traits and qualities through breeding combos.
How to get Anubis in Palworld: Anubis Location
The best way to get Anubis in Palworld is to breed one, but you can always face the level 47 Alpha Anubis on the map instead – but you’ll need to make some crucial preparations before facing them.
First of all, you should know that Anubis’ location is in Twilight Dunes at coordinates (-134, -95). We have also indicated their location for you on the map below:
So, before you start fighting them, you should know that Alpha Anubis is level 47. We strongly recommend fighting Anubis only if you and your Pal team are the same level or higher. You will also need at least three legendary spheres.
To build a legendary sphere in Palworld, you will need to be level 44 to unlock its recipe in the tech tree. You will also need a Sphere Assembly Line II and the following ingredients:
Anubis is a Ground type, so it is best that you take high level grass type friends to exploit its weakness. Additionally, Alpha Anubis is quite fast, so we recommend choosing Grass-types that aren’t too slow to charge up their attacks.
As with any Alpha fight, you will need to repeatedly attack Anubis to reduce his health enough to capture him. We recommend using ranged weapons that don’t affect your mobility to hit Anubis alongside your buddy’s attacks to speed up this process.
Once Anubis’ health reaches his final 100 in his health bar, call your buddy back to make sure he doesn’t accidentally kill him, then launch your legendary sphere to Anubis to capture them. If your first attempt fails, use your ranged weapon to slowly chip away at his health, then try again.
Eventually, you will be able to capture Alpha Anubis to add it to your Paldeck!
