Forspoken Monuments Explained
Forspoken Monuments are a secondary activity that can reward you with significant stat boosts.
Monuments are basically stone sculptures where the Tantas have stored their power. However, these sculptures attracted a concentrated amount of “The Break” which has now engulfed them.
It’s your job to rid them of this corruption, and if you do, you can expect a worthwhile reward.
What the monuments look like on the map
This is what an incomplete monument looks like on the map, it looks the same on close-up maps and on the area. If a monument is completed, it will still have the same symbol but anything purple will be removed.
Unfortunately, Monuments do not appear on the world map.
How to clear Monuments to Strength in Forspoken
To clear a monument in Forspoken, you need to go there and remove “The Break” surrounding it.
The easiest way to do this is to use a charged attack and repeatedly throw them at the base of the monument. Support spells aren’t particularly useful here.
Once you’ve removed enough “The Break” at the base, you can walk to the monument and interact with it.
Then the rest of the corruption on the Monument will begin to crumble. You don’t have to do anything here, once it starts you have completed the monument.
After the brief cutscene, the Monument reward will be given to you and automatically applied to Frey.
Forspoken has arrived and we have boss strategies to help you defeat Tanta Sila, Tanta Prav, the Insane Savant, and the final boss. Before facing these bosses, however, you might want to learn how to craft, upgrade your gear, and find all sources of blessings. Meanwhile, understanding fast travel and clearing monuments will also help you on Fray’s journey through Athia.
Monument Rewards in Forspoken
Awards for completing monuments in Forspoken are usually stat boosts for Frey. You can check what reward you will get from a monument by hovering over its icon on the map.
The purple writing will tell you what boost you can get by completing the activity. We strongly recommend that you visit and complete as many monuments as possible to make Frey stronger.
Have fun exploring Athia to find more monuments to clear!
