THE Extreme Biome Makeover quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the second quest you get from Vanellope von Schweetz and it’s all about helping her feel more comfortable in the valley. There are no candy trees, no race tracks, no racing karts…yet.
As with many quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley, this one will take more than Vanellope to complete. You will need some coins, a little patience and a little creativity.
Without further ado, we’ll show you how to complete Extreme Biome Makeover quest.

How to start the Extreme Biome Makeover quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To start the Extreme Biome Makeover quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to have Vanellope unlocked and have her join your valley, then increase your friendship with her to level two. You also need to have Remy and Wall-E as they are important later in this quest.
When you have met these conditions, all you have to do is talk to Vanellope who will automatically lead the conversation.
She’ll let you know that she’s surprised you don’t have a Candy Biome in your valley and she’s on a mission to change that! This marks the official start of the Extreme Biome Makeover quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s The Remembering update is here! The Fairy Godmother is now in the valley and you can continue the story through the Forgotten Memories quest. You can also now have multiple player houses and customize furniture. If you’re still catching up with the storyline, be sure to complete The Great Blizzard quest to unlock Olaf, while bringing Simba and Nala to the valley. How to complete the Extreme Biome Makeover quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After expressing amazement at the lack of sweets in your valley, Vanellope will then offer you 10 Candy Cane Seeds. You must then go and plant these seeds as you would for a normal seed. Sugarcane sprouts only take a minute to sprout.
When the sugar cane sprouts have grown, choose the ten from them and take bring them back to Vanellope. When you do, she’ll turn them into Candy Cane Trees. On top of that, she’ll also give you giant lollipops and a Deluxe Sugar Cookie sidewalk pattern.
Decorate Vanellope’s house
You must now decorate around Vanellope’s house to make her feel more at home. You may need to move Vanellope’s house by entering the furniture menu and selecting her house to give you more space to decorate.
Then to complete this task you need to decorate around Vanellope’s house with:
- Deluxe Sugar Cookie Slab x50
- x5 Candy Cane Trees
- x5 Giant Lollipops
Now Vanellope has given you a lot more resources than you need so you can decorate her house more elaborately if you want. If you just want to pass the quest, hitting the checklist above is the important part. Also, the quest says to use the sidewalk to create a race track, but we’ve used them as normal path scenery for now.
Once you are happy with your decoration, return to Vanellope and talk to him again.
She then says that it looks great but the “race track” is missing an essential element – the race car. It’s true, you will make a replica of Vanellope’s Sugar Rush Kart from Wreck-It Ralph!
Recreate Vanellope’s Sugar Rush kart
Vanellope will then give you some magical ‘Sugar Rush Syrup’ which is an important item when you come to bake the parts for your Kart later. Yes, you read that right, you’ll cook the pieces of Vanellope’s Kart at a cooking station – so your first task is to gather the ingredients.
Here is a list of the other ingredients you will need for Vanellope’s Kart and where you can get them:
- x6 Wheat – Purchase the item or the seeds to grow it from Goofy in Peaceful Meadow.
- x5 Sugarcane – Purchase the item or the seeds to grow it from Goofy at Dazzle Beach.
- x4 Eggs – Buy from Remy, all four will cost 880 coins.
- x1 Milk – Buy from Remy, the carton will cost 230 pieces.
- x2 Butter – Buy from Remy, both items will cost 380 coins.
Once you have everything, go to the desired cooking station. When there is, open your recipe book (on Xbox it’s the ‘Y’ button).
When you are in your recipe menu, select the “Quest” tab and you should see three recipes here. These are all the components of Vanellope’s Kart.
Here is the recipe for a Sugar Kart Seat:
- x1 Sugar Rush Seat Fudge
- x1 Wheat
- x1 Milk
- x1 Butter
You just have to make a of these.
Here is the recipe for a Sugar Kart Tail:
- x1 Sugar Rush Tail Fudge
- x1 Wheat
- x1 Sugarcane
- x1 Butter
You also just need to make a of these.
Here is the recipe for a sugar kart wheel:
- x1 Sugar Rush Wheel Fudge
- X1 Wheat
- x1 Sugarcane
- x1 Egg
You have to do four of these.
When you have created all these components, bring them back to Vanellope. Talk to him again and you’ll learn that there are still a few things you need to get.
Gather e-waste and kart glue
After talking again with Vanellope, you will learn that you need to get electronic bits for the inside of the Kart to make it work and something to hold it all together.
This is where Wall-E and Remy come in. The first thing you need to do is go to Wall-E (it doesn’t matter if they are or not – the only problem will be if they sleep).
When you’re in Wall-E’s house, search and collect the following items (they will be shimmering bits on the ground):
- x3 Electronic Waste
- Power source x2
Once you have done this, go find remy. when you do, talk to him and follow the conversation until he ends up giving you glue.
Once you have this, return to Vanellope one more time and talk to her again to put the coins back. She will then inform you that the kart will take some time to assemble and that marks the end of the Extreme Biome Makeover quest.
Phew, it was quite a quest. We hope you enjoy your adventures in your valley!
