THE Regal Ancestor Spirit is a legendary boss in Elden Ring. You’ll find him in Hallowhorn Gardens in Nokron, Eternal City, and you’ll need to defeat him if you want to obtain the Remembrance of the Royal Ancestor.

After activating the pillars of flame, click on the horned remains of the elk at the back of the temple in the Ancient Woods, and you will be transported to the boss arena.
The Royal Ancestor Spirit does not behave that differently from the Siofra region Ancestor Spirit. He has largely the same attacks, so you should be able to use similar tactics.
The main difference is that this Regal Ancestor Spirit has three new attacks. He can heal himself multiple times by draining the life force of spirit animals in the arena (unfortunately, you cannot attack and defeat them first).
It also rolls like the sheep in the outside world and leads the way for you. Dodging is extremely difficult here, and it will often catch up to you no matter how you try to dodge. Dodging in its direction can work, but having a heal on hand in case of emergency is essential.
He will also stand up on his hind legs and jump towards your position. He can do this three times in a row, so dodge three times and you can counterattack after he crashes to the ground with his forelimbs.
Occasionally, he will also collapse to the ground and teleport to another location in the arena. While he’s lying there (before his body disappears), you can hit him again. Keep doing this, and it will eventually be defeated.
