Disable Turret Power in Star Wars Outlaws is a key part of Droidsmith’s main quest on Akiva. Without shutting down the turret, it’s only a matter of time before Kay is blown to bits – so who would take care of Nix?
Luckily, the room the turret is in offers plenty of places to take cover while you try to figure out how to shut down this dangerous Star Wars Outlaws machine. Oh, and this is all happening while you’re in an Imperial base – how stressful is that?
On that note, here is how to turn off turret power in star wars outlaws.

How to Disable Turret Power in Star Wars Outlaws
To disable turret power on Akiva in Star Wars Outlaws, you you have to go to the control roombut there are a few obstacles in your way, including the massive weapon system that tries to kill you in a few hits. The first thing you need to do is make sure Kay is in cover!
Now, to access the control room, you need to locate the passage blocked by a red energy shield. It will be diagonally to your right from where you fell into the room.
Move between the many cover options to reach the energy shield and keep Kay crouched behind a large crate. Then, while facing the energy shield, order Nix to turn off the shield via the switch just across the blocked passage.
Once the shield is down, rush here and circle around to the right. Once you’re here, the gun turret won’t be able to hit you. Use the turbolift here to go up to the next floor, and once here, enter the room on your left. Interact with the lever here to bring a large square crate onto the platform next to you.
Head over to that crate and command Nix to interact with the lever you previously used to move the crate, then it will start moving.
While facing the direction of the main gun turret room, quickly climb up to the right side of the crate, this will protect you from the turret while you move towards the control room.
Once you’ve safely landed in the control room, the turret won’t be able to reach you anymore. Here, interact with the console near the window and select the “Disable Turret” option – no hacking required!
