once you find one. Now it’s considerably more difficult than in previous seasons, as the spawn rate of boars and wolves have dropped significantly recently.

Find a mount

It took us a while to find a boar, but we finally found one by the river between the Citadel and Place de l’Enclume.

We recommend that you enable the “Visualize sound effects” option in your settings. Thus, if you are near a boar or a wolf, a small indicator will appear on your screen telling you in which direction the animal is.

When you encounter your chosen target, simply aim for it and try to knock it down before it knocks you down (or before it attacks your mount).

You are quite exposed and noticeable if you run into a wild animal, so we advise you to use a rapid fire weapon if possible. We tried a shotgun first, but it soon became apparent that it was too slow, so we ultimately opted to use an assault rifle on this occasion.
