How to Get Candies in Halloween MultiVersus Event

The Multiverse Halloween Event is the first in the game – and lets you earn candies in exchange for spooky cosmetics.

While the MultiVersus event is active, you’ll get Candy just for playing, but there are ways to make sure you’re getting the most out of your time.

Here is how to earn candies in MultiVersusand what you can spend it on – plus what we think is the fastest ways to earn candy before the end of the event.

How to get candies in MultiVersus

To earn Candy in MultiVersus, all you have to do is play the game while the event is live.

There are different Candy rewards depending on whether you win, lose, or play solo or in a team. For example, if you play a match and lose, you will still earn 10 candies no matter what.

Additionally, you will earn more candies by wearing certain outfits on selected characters. The following bonuses are from the official MultiVersus patch notes:

Candy rewards for single or Free For All (FFA) matches:

Candy earned for 1s Win (not playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween skin) = 20 Candies
Candy earned for 1s loss (not playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween skin) = 10 Candies
Candy earned for 1s Win (playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant = 40 Candies
Candy earned for 1s loss (playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 20 Candies

Candy rewards for team matches:

Candy earned for 2s Win (neither play as Combat Stripe or Gizmo or other Halloween variant) = 20 Candies
Candy earned for 2s Win (player playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 40 Candies
Candy earned for 2s Win (both playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 60 Candies
Candies earned for 2s loss (neither play as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 10 Candies
Candy gained for 2s loss (player playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 20 Candies
Candy earned for 2s loss (team playing as Combat Stripe or Combat Gizmo or another Halloween variant) = 40 Candies

What’s the fastest way to earn candies in MultiVersus?

You will earn more candy per match by equipping the following skins: Combat Stripe, Combat Gizmo, and any other Halloween variants in the store.

Win your matches with these skins and you will really increase your Candy earnings as you play.

What can you spend Candy on?

There’s actually a whole candy store to browse in MultiVersus right now. Here is what is on offer:

Pumpkin Profile Icon = 150 Candy
Jack-O-Lantern Emote Sticker = 500 Candies
Mummy Reindog Epic Variant = 3,000 Candies

When does the MultiVersus Halloween event end?

The Halloween MultiVersus event ends on Tuesday, November 15. You have until then to earn candies and spend them on exclusive rewards. Be sure to spend your candies before the event ends!
