festive fish have been added to Disney Valley of Dreams collection menu during its festive 2022 holiday update.
Unfortunately, you can’t get festive fish yet to complete special holiday tasks like “Even the Fish Are Festive”, “Ho Ho Ho”, or give gifts to your villagers.
However, we do know when the festive fish are coming and how you’ll get them, so we’ve put everything we know on how to get festive fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley below.
On this page:
For more help navigating the holiday update, we have pages on how to get Stitch and how to make fruitcake, boba tea, and yule logs.
When are the festive fish coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Thanks to the brave player u/ValleyBilz on the DreamlightValley subreddit who advanced his system clock, we know that festive fish are coming to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley on Sunday, December 18
It can be a bit annoying when a villager asks for a festive fish as a gift right now, but we strongly advise you to don’t time travel advancing your system clock to get the festive fish. This can mess up your game save when you reset it, like not generating resources.
Thanks to the same time traveler, we also know where you can get the festive fish when they become available on December 18.
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Holiday Update is here! We have pages on how to get Stitch, festive fish, Toy Story Realm’s “A Secret Mission Into Uncharted Space” walkthrough, catching Kingfish, and an updated recipe list including how to make boba tea, a fruit cake, a Yule log and a gingerbread house. For more help, find out how to improve your home and get more storgae, Remy’s cookbook locations, a “With great power” walkthrough, and Nature and Nurture, how to get rich soil, clay, and seaweed, how to make extra sparkling root beer for Scar’s new character quest.
How to Get Festive Fish at Disney Dreamlight Valley
When they become available, festive fish will appear in the water as green and red bubbles. You just catch each in their biome as usual, but u/ValleyBilz on the DreamlightValley subreddit also noted that festive fish can’t be sold and you can only catch one of each type per day.
We know from the in-game collection menu where each of these new fish will appear. So here’s where to catch all varieties of party fish at Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Festive Monkfish – Forgotten Lands
- Festive bass – Peaceful Meadow
- Festive Fugu – Dazzling beach
- festive salmon – Sunny plateau
- Festive squid – Glade of Confidence
Remember, watch out for red and green bubbles to indicate that you’ll get a festive fish by casting your rod there!
We also have a list of recipes and a list of current and future characters if you need more help in the valley.
