How to Get Seaweed at Disney Dreamlight Valley
The good news is that you can find seaweed in any of the seven biomes currently available in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although we found about ten in one day on the shore of Dazzle Beach, they have yet to reappear, more than 24 hours later. Seaweed foraging has a very long respawn time, may not respawn at all, or is currently bugged.
Don’t worry if you can’t search for seaweed anymore because all you have to do to get seaweed in Disney Dreamlight Valley is cast your fishing line into a water source away from bubble circles. You can occasionally catch a common fish, but you’ll usually find seaweed pretty quickly if you move your fishing rod away from bubbles.
If you plan on farming seaweed this way, or any other material in Disney Dreamlight Valley, we recommend that you either bring meals with you to keep your blue energy bar replenished, or unlock the wishing well in the area where you are growing. , so you can fast travel between the biome and your home to refill your energy bar without making a meal.
While fishing you should also ‘hang out’ with a character that has a fishing bonus, because that means they will sometimes find another seaweed after you find one. This fishing bonus is not limited to one character, as you can choose which bonus each of the villagers gets when you reach a certain point in their friendship.
Now that you know how to get seaweed and farm it effectively, you can either use it as an ingredient in meals or turn it into fiber, which is needed for many crafting recipes, including rope. A seaweed will produce five fibers at a time. So if it’s rope you’re looking for, you’ll need to grab two seaweed, like it takes eight fibers to make a rope on a workbench
