How to Get Seraph Key Codes in Destiny 2

Seraph Key Codes are awarded upon completion of most activities. The exact total varies, but after much experimentation, we’ve found that on average, you can expect missions to award approximately these amounts:

  • Patrol (5 rewarded)
  • Lost Sector (30 rewarded)
  • Public event (220 rewarded)
  • Heroic Public Event (240 Rewarded)
  • Crucible (285 rewarded)
  • Gambit (285 rewarded)
  • Strike (285 rewarded))

Additionally, there are unlockable perks on the Exo Frame that can help you earn Seraph Key Codes. The first is called Seraph Key Code Rewards. Once unlocked, Exo Frame bounties will reward Seraph Key Codes.

After that is the Seraph Fighters Key Code advantage. With this activation, defeating enemies has a chance to reward Seraph Key Codes.

Finally, the paid season pass has Seraph Key Code Boost I and II, unlocked at levels 12 and 32 respectively. Each of these increases the number of Seraph Key Codes earned upon completing activities.

How to Collect Resonance Rods in Destiny 2

Resonance rods are awarded from Reading List activities and opening Seraph Chests. They are kept in your inventory in an item called Resonance Amp and can be combined in groups of 4 to create an alternate frequency.

Playlist activities reward 3 Resonate Stems after a successful competition. That means jumping into the Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit playlists. The most effective option will likely change from week to week. Sometimes a short strike may be the best option, others (like when Mayhem is active) the Crucible may offer the path of least resistance.

You win 2 Resonate Steams to open Seraph chests at the end of Heist Battlegrounds. It’s a good option, but comes with an important caveat. You must have 500 Seraph Key Codes to open the trunk. If you don’t have them, there’s no point (from Resonate Stem’s perspective) in doing the Heist Battlegrounds.

What do you do with Resonate Stems in Destiny 2

Resonate Stems has a job is Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph: Forming Override Frequencies.

Whenever you collect at least 4 Resonate Stems, you can combine them in your Resonance amp to form an Override Frequency. This loads a description into the amp, with a hint at a location. Head there and you’ll find a floating Rasputin Node playing music, ready to be opened, consuming the Override Frequency in the process.

For each of those Rasputin nodes you unlock, you’ll earn a Season of the Seraph weapon for your trouble, and it has a chance to drop with Deepsight Resonance.

Seraph Season is here alongside more than a weapon and Seraph Key Codes and Resonating Rods. Elsewhere, we saw the arrival of . Moments of Triumph 2022, new Exotics, and an increased level cap. Earlier this year we had the arrival of the King’s Fall and King’s Fall challenges, as well as weapons such as Doom of Chelchis and Touch of Malice. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Dead Messenger and Parasite.
