Barbarian Armor Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Barbarian armor is located in the Crenel Hills cave (0488, 0730, 0041), northeast of the lookout. The easiest route to reach Crenel Hills Cave is to follow the road you will find heading northeast from the lookout. Once you’ve crossed the bridge, just continue north. The area is quite easy to explore, so you can easily reach the location at the start of the game.
One of the ways to find out more about this place is to talk to Meeshy (1293, -0831, 0070)an NPC you find near the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. It marks on your map the location of three treasures that belonged to Misko, a famous bandit. By following his advice, you can find the Climbing Gear Kit Chest Piece and Barbarian Armor.
How to get Barbarian Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Because the cave where the barbarian armor is quite simple, it is quite easy to get it. First, once you enter the cave, move forward until you see two spears by the side of the path you are on.
Head towards the direction of the spears, go down to the lower part of the cave, but continue to the left, near the wall. If you enter the small pond in the middle of the cave, you’ll awaken a Stone Talus, which is a tough enemy to face if you’re just beginning your adventure.
Keep going left until you see a pile of rocks sticking out from the rest of the wall. Now all you have to do is explore these rocks. One option is to combine an arrow with a bomb flower and shoot the rocks. There are a few of these flowers near the wall where the rocks are if you end up with empty pockets.
Since the passage is open, you just need to climb the wall and cross it. Inside you are going to find the chest with the barbarian armor.
Barbarian Helmet Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
You can find the Barbarian Helmet at Robred Dropoff Cave (2493, – 1479, 0014), southeast of Kakariko Village. A route you can use to get there is to continue east from Kakariko Village, then, glide south from the Phalian Highlands.
THE the entrance to the cave is in a lower region so coming from a higher place is probably one of the best ways to reach if you haven’t gotten too far in the game and increased your stamina. You’ll know you’ve found the right spot when you see lots of small rocks clustered in the area.
How to get the barbarian helmet in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In order to get your hands on the Barbarian Helmet, you need to solve a puzzle inside Robred Dropoff’s cave. Inside there are many paths and your job is to find the right one by following the right rules. If you want a tip that won’t ruin the cave for you, watch out for the statues.
Now here’s how to solve the puzzle in Robred Dropoff Cave. Right at the entrance to the cave, there is a message written on a stone saying “The treasures lie beyond the path indicated by the stone statues”.
Keep going and you’ll find a large area where you have several paths to choose from and three statues in the center. The right choice in this room is the last path on the right side of the cave that the statues face.
The next room repeats the same structure, but now there’s a circle of statues and some blocked paths that you can open by destroying rocks. Again, the correct choice is to follow the path to where the three grouped statues are facing. In this case, clockwise is the second path – the first path blocked from left to right.
While you can easily destroy the boulder wall with a Bomb Flower, brutally forcing your way in with a fused weapon with one of the rocks you find around is also an option. Either way, after clearing enough space for you to pass, proceed to the next area.
Your next challenge is, first, to take care of a group of Bokoblins. To speed up the process, you can shoot the cannon next to them. If you don’t have strong equipment or good health to face them directly, you should stay on the heights from where you can shoot arrows or lure the remaining enemies one by one so you can deal with them more easily. .
Once the room is clear, all you have to do is destroy the rocks that close a hole in the ground. And yes, you have to jump in. But pay attention to this first there are two statues facing a passage with a gate. Your goal is to get inside on the other side. You can now slide into the hole.
There’s only one path you can follow from here and it leads you to a room with three sets of statues in front of stone platforms each. Go to the one on the right where there is a group of three statues and use the Ascension skill. You end up in the room with the chest, so go get your new gear!
Barbarian Leggings Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Barbarian Leg Wraps is located in Walnot Mountain Cave (3931, -2066, 0129). This cave is in the southeast area of the map. Once you find Kakariko Village, continue southeast until you find Hateno Village. The cave is to the east of it, next to a small lake south of Retsam Forest.
Walnot Mountain Cave is by far the most difficult cave to navigate, due to the powerful enemies lurking there. Some can easily kill you with one shot from their weapons. Because of this, the option, if you’re not strong enough to take them on, is to just run through the cave and dodge their attacks.
How to get the Barbarian Leggings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Once inside the cave, there is not much to do. Just at the entrance, you can see that the path splits into one on the left – which goes to a lower area – and one on the right – which continues to climb.
You want to follow the path to the right, but as soon as you start following it, some enemies in the area will spot you. As we said, the enemies in this cave are quite strong for those who are at the beginning of their adventure. So the best option is to just ignore them.
As you walk the path, you will realize that the temperature drops. You don’t have to worry about it, but pay attention to a specific place where there is a big boulder of ice with a frozen enemy inside. In front, there is an Ice Like Like that shoots icy clouds.
What you need to do is jump off the edge right next to the Ice Like Like to reach a hole in the wall.
Inside you’ll find a small shrine with a chest with the Barbarian Leggings. Yet it is frozen! So you have to use fire to get it out of the ice. Which method you will use to produce fire is entirely up to you, but if you want some suggestions you can either place some wood next to the chest and set it on fire using a fire stone, or just shoot arrow combined with fire fruit.
And with that, you have all the pieces of the Barbarian Set and, if you want to know more about Link’s adventure, go to our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom walkthrough.
