Duchess is one of the characters you can play as in Elden Ring NightergBut you don't have access to her from the start. Instead, you will have to Unlock the duchess Before playing like her.

How to get the Duchess to Elden Ring Nightreign
To get the duchess as a playable character in Elden Ring Nightreign, you must first reach Gladius at the end of the triceps expedition. After your meeting with the three -headed wolf, you Get the “old pocketwatch” article.
Once you have the “old pocket watch”, Talk to the priestess in the round table and select the 'Show him the old pocket step' Dialogue option. Then select “Give it”. You will now be entitled to a kinematics and, after, the Duchess will be unlocked as a playable character!
Keep in mind that Gladius is the first nightlord that you will have to defeat in Nightreign and ideally, you will face it alongside two other players.
It is important to note, however, that, according to our experience, you do not have to defeat Gladius to win the “old pocket watch”. However, when this happened, a single member of our party won the article. For this reason, you may have to play through the expedition of Tricephalos several times – reach and, hope, defeat Gladius – before being able to unlock the duchess.
