You can even experience the Natlan Archon quest early, provided you’ve completed the Liyue Archon quest in Genshin Impact. This means you can completely skip Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine if the Pyro nation is more your thing.

How to get to Natlan in Genshin Impact
Although the easiest method is to follow the storyline in Chapter V of Archon Quest, anyone can travel to Natlan using the Tequemecan Valley teleport point west of Hadramaveth Desert in Sumeru
If you don’t see the teleport point on your map, try zooming in on the area we described.
Don’t worry if you haven’t unlocked the desert zone in Sumeru yet, or any nation other than Mondstadt for that matter, as the teleport point will automatically unlock on everyone’s map after completing “The Song of the Dragon and Freedom” when you’ve reached at least Adventure Rank 19.
Even if you have access to Natlan, be aware that its new enemies may be too difficult to fight if you haven’t progressed enough. Additionally, while you are free to explore Natlan as much as you like, some events in Natlan will require you to have a high enough Adventure Level.
If you’re a sporadic or relatively new Genshin Impact player who’s struggling to understand the game’s timeline or systems, our beginner’s guide can help break down everything else and offer some helpful tips and tricks as you adventure through each nation.
How to start the Archon of Natlan quest at the beginning of Genshin Impact
You must be Reach Rank 28 and complete the final quest of the Liyue ArchonChapter 1 Act 3 “A New Star Approaches,” to start the Natlan Archon Quest at the beginning of Genshin Impact. As long as you meet these requirements, the ability to quickly start the first Natlan Archon Quest will be available in the Event menu.
Don’t worry, you won’t lose the ability to go back and experience previous Archon Quests in Inazuma, Sumeru, or Fontaine if you choose to fast-start the Natlan Archon Quest before completing them.
I hope you enjoy exploring Natlan!
