How to get to the Albinauric Village in Elden Ring and how to overcome it

Albinauric, Elden, overcome, Ring, Village

THE Albinaurics Village is a location in Elden Ring that is southwest of Liurnia of the Lakes.

The water in this area has long since given way to a disgusting, bubbling swamp, as well as giant crabs that will detain the few travelers who stray here. However, getting to the Albinaurics Village can be difficult, including the area above the Albinaurics Village. Luckily, we’re here to help, so keep reading our step-by-step guide on how to get to the Albinaurics village in Elden RingAnd how to defeat the Omenkiller who resides there.

We played Shadow of the Erdtree before its June 21 release and had a lot to say about it. Watch on YouTube

You will find the location of Albinaurics Village here on the map, shown below:

To get there, you will have to locate a barely visible slope and climb between the wooden crosses with the suspended bodies. If you’ve followed Nepheli Loux’s quest enough, you’ll encounter her here in front of the entrance.

Behind the round arch of the bridge, you will reach the village and the Site de Grâce’Albinaurics Village” in a small ruined house.

How to get past Albinaurics Village

Before we begin, a brief introduction in case anyone is wondering how to get to the area above Albinaurics Village. The map does not indicate a path and we do not know how to get there.

In short: there is no direct access from the village to the area above, even if the map suggests otherwise. Simply follow Ranni’s quest far enough to access the Moonlight Altar. This is the plateau above the village.

Explore the village of Albinaurics

Villagers are weaklings, but can pose a threat when they appear in large groups. As you enter the village, you will find a group guarding a corpse with 1x larva tear (which you can use to be reborn and reset your stats) and they sometimes drop Albinauric blood clots.

The ghostly figure at the well doesn’t have much to say. Continue on the suspension bridge. After the wizard and a few other villagers, the exploration in this direction ends with the Crystal Sword lying near a corpse on the edge.

From the Site of Grace up the slope, you encounter an enemy with some nasty area attacks. These guys are called Depraved perfumers, and they’ll throw what looks a bit like explosive magic powder at you. This makes it difficult to get close to them, but the good news is that it doesn’t take much to take them down once you do.

Behind him is a coffin with a Ivory sickle inside. Not far from this coffin, you will discover a pot prominently displayed in the surrounding area.

Roll against the pot to reveal a named NPC Albus hiding inside. He will give you the Haligtree Secret Medallion (right) and asks you to take care of it. It can be used later in the game to access the secret location Consecrated snowfieldif you follow Latinna’s questline.

According to the item’s description, the medallion is believed to launch Rold’s Great Lift, which leads to the land of Miquella’s Haligtree when combined with the left half of the medallion.

You will meet Latenna in the Sleeping Wolf’s Hut in Liurnia of the Lakes and she will tell you where to find the other half of the medallion (with which you can then advance towards the Consecrated Snowfield).

There is nothing left to get at this point. Continue across the bridge you passed under to enter the village earlier. After passing a few villagers, a Beetle is also taking off. Reach the other side to access the boss fight in the village.

How to defeat the Omenkiller

The structure of this boss fight is reminiscent of Demon Capra from Dark Souls, only the conditions here are fairer.

On the right side of the area where you fight the Omenkiller, two dogs are waiting for you. You should get rid of the dogs firstotherwise you will not be able to fight without interruption.

You can even go down this side and surprise the dogs. The boss won’t notice:

The fight itself is one in which you can take many different approaches. Do not try to block both butcher axes at the same time, because it is a bad idea and can lead to bleeding. You also definitely don’t want to try to block when he jumps and swings both weapons over your head at the same time.

A defense pawn can be used if it attacks with only one side, never with the double-sided animation.

However, you can dodge to the side in time when he in turn launches the usual three-hit combo. It’s a good window to strike again and again, and we eventually fell into that familiar rhythm during our own fight with the Omenkiller.

He can also breathe fire, covering an area a few meters in front of him. The flames burn for about ten seconds, so be sure to avoid this attack.

Above all, his attacks almost always unbalance him and cause him to fall. This takes some of the pressure out of this fight, provided you dodge the jump attack. It cannot be interrupted during this animation and repeats it three times.

The Omenkiller falls 4,900 runes and the Crucible Knot Talisman (which reduces the strength of headshots and the damage taken from headshots). This concludes our exploration of the albinauric village of Liurnia des Lacs.
