The first step is heading to Grim Gables in Fortnite, quite easy. Things get trickier from there, as you’ll need to locate the Inquisitor first before defeating him.
Completing this challenge will bring you one step closer to unlocking exclusive Halloween-themed gifts. The fight is pretty tough though, so here’s the best way to get through it.

How to help defeat the Inquisitor at Grim Gables in Fortnite
In order to defeat the Inkquisitor in Fortnite, you will first need to find them in Grim Gables. Once you’re there, all you have to do is damage the Inkquisitor before it’s killed. Since this is a popular challenge right now, expect lots of other players.
Just be careful, damage the boss, then finish it yourself or let someone else on your team do it.
Fortnite Inkquisitor location
The Inkquisitor can be found in Grim Gables, in the northern part of the map. You can see it marked below:
Once you’re there, enter the large mansion with a hedge maze outside. Now the Inkquisitor is in the mines below. Go through the ground floor and up again to find the summoning circle pictured below. Run through it and it will activate, spawning the Inkquisitor.
Tips for Defeating the Inquisitor
The Inkquisitor is a relatively tough fight, so bring a team with you if you can. They will attack you with fireflies and the new pumpkin launcher. This basically means fire, so be careful not to get stuck in any of the wooden structures that line the area.
Your best bet is to get closer to a Shotgun or SMG, or use the new Goo Gun if you have one handy. The Inkquisitor doesn’t have much health, but has the support of all zombies in the area. Erase them as you go, so you don’t end up in the corners.

Inkquisitor rewards in Fortnite
The Inkquisitor will drop loot when killed. They always drop a Pumpkin Launcher, as well as a Legendary Weapon. Additionally, you will get 15,000 XP for damaging and killing them. This will also count for ongoing Fortnitemares quests.
