Hide in different bushes that you threw away is one of the limited-time weekly challenges that you must complete in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

The quest is worded a bit confusingly, and the item you use to complete it can actually help you win matches, which makes it valuable beyond this challenge. So we detailed how to hide in the bushes you threw in Fortnite below.

You’ll earn 16,000 XP for completing the quest, which can help you earn Battle Stars for this season’s Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Cinematic Trailer.

How to hide in the bushes you threw in Fortnite

To hide in the bushes you threw in Fortnite, you need to use Big Bush bombs

. These are portable bushes that you can deploy, similar to the Port-a-Fort item.

The Big Bush bombs are located anywhere you can find loot, including on the ground, inside normal and sworn chests, and supply drops. You can also check the loot that drops when you kill an opponent to see if they had Big Bush Bombs in their inventory.

To launch a Big Bush Bomb, select it in your inventory, aim it like a grenade, then press the fire button.

All you have to do to hide in that bush you threw away is step into it.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Chapter 1 has arrived, with a new system of augmentations, the upcoming arrival of Geralt and the Ageless Champion to beat! We also have a Winterfest and Cozy Lodge giveaway list and pizza slice locations. Meanwhile, learn how to get XP fast, earn the Victory Umbrella, find character slots, and earn a Victory Crown.

Just keep in mind that you have to hide in two different bushes you roll to complete this weekly challenge. Big Bush Bombs are found in stacks of two, so this can only be a problem if you’ve looted one from an eliminated player.

Throwing Big Bush Bombs also counts towards weekly throw something challenges and throw something within five seconds of damaging an opponent. So keep picking up Big Bush Bombs when you’re done to help complete those quests too!

Once you complete these challenges, you might want to use Big Bush Bombs to help you win matches. They are very useful when paired with the “Bush Warrior” augment which allows you to regenerate shields and health in a bush or other large foliage.
