As with BOTW, you will very quickly run out of inventory space In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. From all the random loot you’ll pick up at the many shrines, to finding some of the best armor sets, you’re going to be looking for every opportunity you can to increase the size of your inventory.
Increasing your inventory size is a tiring task and only finalists are going to max it out. But either way, it’s something you’ll very quickly regret not spending a bit of time focusing on – Hyrule is full of all sorts of swords, shields and bows.

How to increase your inventory size in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To increase your inventory size in Tears of the Kingdom, you will need Korok seeds, and you will need a lot of them. To use Korok Seeds, you will need to trade them with Hestu – a giant Korok that appears from time to time.
When you first enter Hyrule, Link’s stash will only be able to hold a small chunk of items. He will be able to hold exactly nine weapons, four shields and five bows. But after many visits to Hestu and many hours of hunting down Korok Seeds, you will eventually become a one-man arsenal.
Give Korok Seeds to Hestu is the only way to increase your inventory space. As tempting as it may be to ignore lost Koroks or do unspeakable things to them, the best bet is to reunite the friends. It’s an easy way to get two Korok Seeds at once without having to scour the wilds for hidden Koroks.
Keep in mind though that Hestu increases the number of Korok Seeds needed after expanding a certain pocket multiple times. For example, it takes one seed to increase your weapon inventory the first time around, but you’ll need to turn in two the second time around. The increase is however linked to specific sachets. If you expand your Weapon Pouch five times, but haven’t hit the Shield Pouch, expanding the Shield Pouch will still only cost 1 Korok Seed.
