It might seem a bit random at first when starting this stage of the challenge, but there’s actually an image system in place to help you line up the sensors in the correct order.
Each of the five star catchers around this circular cosmic monitor in the middle has its own symbol printed on it. The white exclamation point on your map doesn’t show you where to hit first, it actually shows the correct symbol which you need to damage next.
So to damage the star catchers in the correct order, look at which symbol is displayed on the monitor in the middle, then go hit the sensor with the same symbol on it.
Keep in mind that you must use your pickaxe to damage each sensor, so you can’t just stand in one place and shoot them.

Correct order to align star catchers in Fortnite
Here is the correct order in which you should damage star catchers to align them in Fortnite:
First star finder
You have to damage the star catcher with the crescent moon on right symbol the first, which is the one located to the southeast.
Second star tracker
You have to damage the star catcher with the right half moon symbol the second, which is the one located to the northwest.
Third star catcher
The third star tracker you need to align is the one with the full moon symbollocated to the south.
Fourth star catcher
For the fourth star sensor, you need to damage the one with the half moon to the left symbolwhich is located in the southwest.
