THE Telescope the recipe has been added to LEGO Fortnite as part of its big Gone Fishin’ update in February 2024, featuring fishing rods, bait buckets, the compass and more!
With Spyglass, you can now see great distances by zooming. This can be very useful when trying to figure out where to go to find materials, or where to set up a new village, so we’ve detailed how to make a bezel in Lego Fortnite below.

How to make a scope in Lego Fortnite
HAS make a spyglass out of Lego Fortnite you need:
But first, you need to unlock the Spyglass recipe. To get the Spyglass recipe, place the glass in your inventory. To get glass you need to bring sand and Brightcores to a metal smelter, which seems simple enough, but to get a metal smelter you need a village at level 9.
This is a bit annoying for new worlds, as Spyglass is perfect for early game exploration, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be.
When available, for make a metal smelter in Lego Fortnite you need:
- 3 blast cores
- 15 luminous hearts
- 35 obsidian slabs
Knotroot Rod is much easier to obtain than Glass, as you only need one Knotroot to craft it at a Sawmill. We have a complete guide on where to find Knotroot, but in general you’ll want to be on the lookout for caves in the Grassland biome and bring an uncommon Logging Axe.
