How to Make Extra Sparkling Root Beer in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Although you get the extra bubbly root beer recipe as part of Scar’s “Nature and Nurture” quest, it’s actually very easy to mess up and make regular root beer instead.
Here’s exactly what you need to make extra bubbly root beer in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- 1 dried ginger
- 1 sugar cane
- 1 Vanilla
Remember it’s dried ginger which is needed to make Disney Dreamlight Valley’s extra bubbly variety of root beer, not ordinary ginger
Although it’s generally a good idea to select “Auto Fill” when preparing meals to save time, do not automatically fill root beer ingredientsor you’ll make regular root beer instead.
Additionally, there may be a bug that makes regular root beer instead of the extra bubbly variety when trying to brew it for Scar’s Quest. According to user DrumstickLolly8989 on Disney’s Dreamlight Valley Subreddit, restarting the game will once again add the Dried Ginger you get in Scar’s Quest to your backpack.

When you’ve made the Extra Sparkling Root Beer Meals, take them back to the Vitalys Caves on the Sunny Plateau and add the extra Sparkling Root Beer and Sparkling Candies you found in the Red Barrel Caves near the waterfall.
The water level will now rise and you can go and warn Merlin… but something strange will happen outside the cave before you reach it.
