Repairing the robot in Wuthering Waves is part of the No Response Tonight side quest that you will find in the Dim Forest area of the map. This poor but deeply faithful robot has been taken apart and it’s up to you to find the missing pieces to put them back together.
This Wuthering Waves task is slightly more complicated than it seems at first glance because there is a side quest that must be completed within this side quest so that you can repair the robot. This seems a little confusing, but don’t worry, we’re here to help.
Without further ado, we are here to show you how to repair the robot in Wuthering Waves including a Unanswered Walkthrough Tonight and we even show you how to complete the Shooting Party side quest Also!
How to repair the robot in Wuthering Waves
Repairing the robot in Wuthering Waves is the main objective of the No Response Tonight side quest, and there are several steps you need to follow to repair this trusty machine:
Start the No Response Tonight side quest
To start the No Response Tonight quest in Wuthering Waves, you must find the abandoned hilltop camp between Settle Range and Violet Banyan in Dim Forest, southwest of Tiger’s Maw. We have indicated its exact location for you on the map below:
Once you arrive here, we strongly advise you to activate the resonance beacon next to the camp as it will make things easier later.
At camp, interact with the glowing radio located above the boxes near the tent. Listen to what he has to say, learn that the robot is called Blu and you will then have started the quest No Response Tonight.
After listening to the radio, head over to the broken robot and interact with it when prompted. You’ll learn that he’s missing three key pieces and that you’ll need to find them if you want to put Blu back together.
Find replacement parts
To find the replacement parts, you need to activate your sensor from your Utility menu, then use it to scan the area. He will detect a trail of Gemberries leading to the northeast of the camp.
Follow the Gemberry trail and collect them along the way as they are handy to have. Continue following the Gemberry trail and it will eventually lead you to a group of hostile level 12 Excarats. Deal with them.
Once you’ve cleared the group, interact with the glowing pile at the base of the rocks the Gemberries grow on to dig up the spare parts.
Now that you have this, you can quickly return to camp.
Find a power supply
Once back at camp, you need to interact with the signal console (the small tower) near the tent. It should be marked with a quest icon if you are unsure.
Interact with the side the light panel is on and it will lead you to a puzzle. You have to connect the colors together without crossing them, here is the solution to this puzzle:
Once you do this, you will have a new quest marker on your map. Solving this puzzle revealed the location of the power supply.
Head to this location to find a group of Exiles waiting there. You’ll need to defeat them to continue, and we highly recommend focusing your initial attack on the highest level exile, so you can take out any remaining ones.
Once you’ve taken them out, examine the shiny part of a stack of crates leaning against a northeast-facing building to collect the power pack. However, don’t return to camp yet: the next room is closer than you think!
Find a motor
While you are at the place where you collected the Power Pack, you need to locate the table with a “Strange Flyer” on it.
Interact with this to read it and you’ll start the Shooting Party quest – you need to complete it to get your robot’s engine.
Complete the Shooting Night quest
After unlocking the Shooting Party quest, you need to head to the location marked on your map which is west of the robot camp, southwest of Settle Range, and northwest of Forbidden Forest. We have also marked the location on the map below:
When you get here, there won’t be anyone around. At this point we recommend assigning a Resonator to your active weapon-wielding team, we chose Chixia. Once you’re happy with your team, find a chair to sit in and wait. When you have d one this, people will arrive.
Talk to the Cunning Exile Leader near the workbench and he will inform you that Team Shooting is a set of three challenges in which you must hit all targets before time runs out.
You will need to pay a fee to participate in each round and the costs are as follows:
- First round – 500 Shell credits
- Second round – 1,000 Shell credits
- Third round – 2,000 Shell credits
To start the first round, talk to the exile leader and agree to pay the 500 credit fee. Once you’ve done that, point the training dummy next to the old car and interact with it to begin the test.
The first round is a set of three stationary targets facing north. When you’ve reached all three, go talk to the leader again. After that, talk to him again to give him 1,000 credits and start the second round.
The second round is divided into two halves. The first half will consist of three targets facing south and one moving. The second half of the second round includes three more south-facing targets, but this time the two outer targets will be moving.
Once you’re done, return to the boss. Talk to them one more time to give them 2,000 credits and you can start the third round.
Don’t panic when you see the targets, It’s a lifting round that you’re supposed to lose.. So honestly, don’t put in any effort if you don’t want to – but you can if you want to see how good your skills are. Either way, the result will be exactly the same.
When you lose this turn, face the cunning exile leader and you will have to fight him and his exile friends. Once you’ve taken them down, you can open the previously locked loot chest next to the workbench and collect the robot’s engine. This completes the Shooting Party side quest and you’ll earn some decent loot for it.
You can now return to camp.
Repair the robot
Back at camp, all you have to do is interact with Blu to repair the robot. They’ll be grateful and unlock the chest next to them so you can earn some pretty cool high-level goodies.
Additionally, your rewards for completing the No Response Tonight quest are:
- 100 Union EXP
- 10 Astrites
- 2 Advanced Resonance Potion
- 1 advanced energy core
- 6,000 Shell credits
This doesn’t include all the Gemberries and other items you’ve collected along the way.
