Unlock Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower will add the Gerudo Desert and some of its surrounding mountains to your map in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Like most Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Gerudo Desert Skyview Tower does not work properly when you arrive. However, you cannot fix it yourself, so you must help the person who can reach the tower.

Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is located atop a mountain on the edge of the desert at coordinates -2432, -2178, 0307 in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you follow the road from Hyrule Field to Gerudo Desert, you should be able to see the tower towering above you.

Reaching this Skyview Tower involves a lot of climbing, of course, and while the exact route you take depends on which way you decide to approach it, Ascend can help you jump across the wooden platforms and some rocky outcrops.

How to unlock the Gerudo Canyon Skyview tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, like many other Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, has an issue that needs to be fixed before it can be activated. Although Link isn’t able to fix it himself. Instead, you have to help Sawson reach the tower, but unfortunately the elevator he needs to reach the tower is also broken.

To get Sawson up the tower, you need to use Ultrahand to attach three metal crates to the right elevator weight.



After that, the elevator will start working again and automatically raise Sawson from the ground below. Now all you have to do is sit back and watch him fix the tower for you!
