Jewels should not be noted in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. They allow you to gain powerful bonuses to allow your character to cause more damage, be able to resist, attack faster, … This tutorial reveals everything you need to know about the use of gems.
As with most things, you gain gems by opening your chest or by eliminating enemies (image1et2). Gems are easily identified by the color green.
You can also buy them at Zanafer Stark in Stormfall (image3et4).
To use a gem, you must have a weapon or piece of armor with gem scenes (image5). But be careful that you can add gem locations to all machines. To do this, go to Zanafer Stark in Stormfall, select the second tab (image6), place the equipment you want in the box, then click on the good location (image7). Repeat until you find the gem locations you want. You can also install machines that already have gem locations and click on Reforge to try to find other locations.
The gem area will work a certain bonus with the gem. In our example, we were able to find an attack zone II and a level III ground with our sword (image8). So we will look among our values for those that offer interesting bonuses for offense II and attack III. We have two gems in our building: in Offful II, the first adds fire damage to the spell, and the second adds the wound damage to the spell (image9et10). In Case III, the first gem adds 7% damage from the burn effect, and the second 7% is injured from the bleeding effects.
Depending on how you play, set your favorite values on Offful II and III to maximize the amount of damage you will suffer. Just select a gem and put it in place (image11).
The goal remains the same for weapons and other metals. Armor applies protection bonuses to gems, while accessories use support bonuses.
Should you change your equipment, do not sell weapons and weapons in precious stones. Go to Zanafer, select the start tab, install the machines, and click "Remove values" (image12). Operation is expensive in gold, but you'll be able to find your own tools and use them on other machines.
