Peely’s Booty is a new augmentation that has been added to Fortnite.
It allows you to find buried treasure located somewhere on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map. You’ll want to find it, as you’ll often find Legendary loot.

How to find buried treasure in Fortnite using Peely’s Plunder
Peely’s Plunder is a new Augment that has been added to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Augments give you buffs throughout a match, and Peely’s Plunder actually gives you a Treasure Map after you select it. Unfortunately, the boosts are currently random, so you’ll have to wait to draw them. Once you’ve done so, search your inventory for a map, or on the ground if all of your slots are full.
Take the map and select it, then watch a red line point from your character to the surrounding area. You will need to hold the card for this to work. All you have to do is follow the red lines until you see a bright spot on the ground. This will take you to a golden glowing ‘X’. Dig there with your harvesting tool to reveal a gold chest. This is the buried treasure you seek. Open the chest for great loot!

Once you open the buried treasure chest, you will indeed generate some very good loot. In our experience, two legendary weapons drop each time, along with an assortment of healing items and ammo. It’s a great way to get an edge at the start of a match, as you’ll likely have one of the best weapons of anyone currently in the game.
