Iris are a type of flower and an Ascension material that you can mainly find in the Weeping Aix Bog region. Howling Waves.
Currently, Iris is used to ascend some Wuthering Waves resonators like Calcharo and it is highly likely that future resonators will also need this ascension material.
There is a respawn time for Iris once you pick her, but you can find a decent amount of them in a specific area of the map. With that in mind, we’re here to show you where to find Iris in Wuthering Waves.

What are irises for in Wuthering Waves?
The iris is a blue flower native to The whining Aix Bog in Howling Waves and they seem to be most common in the area around the ruins of the Court of Savante.
You will need Iris to ascend Calcharo and other resonators in Wuthering Waves. You’ll need to get your hands on a lot of these flowers to mount the resonator of your choice. For example, you will need x60 Iris for Calcharo and collecting this amount will take a bit of effort.
Howling Waves Iris Locations
While you can find Iris scattered sporadically across the map in Wuthering Waves, there is one specific location you can go to where there are plenty of them spawning: the Whining Aix’s Mire. This is the region in the far southeast of the map and we have marked its location on the map below:
When you arrive in this region, you will ideally want to browse the following areas in your search for irises:
- Shaking the battlefield
- Ruins of the Court of the Scholars
- Fallen grave
- Lollo Warehouse
