Jane Doe is a S-rank physical character with the Anomaly specialty which deals Slash type damage.
Keeping in mind that all percentages mentioned below are based on Tier 1 skills, and that this is beta information leaked by hakush.in that might change upon its official release, here is a quick summary of Jane Doe’s Kit in Zenless Zone Zero:
- Attribute: Physical.
- Speciality: Attack.
- Type of damage:Slash.
- Rarity:Rank S.
- Faction:Special Criminal Investigation Response Team.
- Passive Basic Skill: Insight – When Jane’s attacks hit an enemy, they enter the Gnawed state, which lasts for 10 seconds. If a squad member triggers Assault on an enemy in the Gnawed state and causes the Surge effect, the Surge effect is increased by 5 seconds, and the damage from Assault has a chance to trigger a critical hit, with a base critical rate of 20% and critical damage of 50%. Each point of Jane’s Anomaly skill further increases this critical rate by 0.1%.
- Additional basic skill: Hot Spot – When another character in your squad shares the same attribute or faction: Jane’s Physical Anomaly accumulation rate is increased by 15%. When the enemy already has an Attribute Anomaly, Jane’s Physical Anomaly accumulation towards the target is increased by an additional 15%.
Passion
When Jane triggers Perfect Dodge, Defensive Assist, or performs an attack that damages the enemy, she accumulates Passion Flow. When she reaches maximum Passion Flow, Jane enters the Passion state. During this state, Jane’s Physical Anomaly accumulation rate is increased by 25%. Additionally, if Jane’s Anomaly Mastery exceeds 0.15 points, each additional point increases her Attack by two, up to a maximum of 600.
While in Passion, Jane’s damaging abilities expend Passion Flow. Activating a Perfect Dodge or Defensive Assist regenerates Passion Flow, and Jane exits Passion when all of her Passion Flow is expended.
Basic Attack: Salchow Jump
Entering Passion State allows Jane to use a basic attack: Salchow Jump. When available, hold the basic attack button to activate it. Here are its effects:
- Launch rapid consecutive attacks forward, followed by a final blow, dealing physical damage.
- Hold the button during continuous attacks to extend the skill duration. Release the basic attack button to trigger the finishing move sooner.
- Anti-interrupt level is increased during continuous attacks and Jane takes 40% less damage. Jane is invulnerable during the finishing move.
- Using Basic Attack: Salchow jumping while in Passion state generates Passion Flow.
Dodge: Ghost
Jane has an additional dodge, alternating between two dodges before entering the Passion state. After entering the Passion state, Jane can dodge through enemies in front of her.
