Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0 operator list and how to unlock them

list, Modern, operator, Unlock, Warfare, Warzone

Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 Operators are each unlocked in a different way. Some ask you to complete challenges, while others are tied to the campaign mode.

There are more than two dozen operators in total. In Modern Warfare 2, these are split between two teams called SPECGRU and KORTAC. You’ll have access to some of them when you first load into Modern Warfare 2, but most will need to be unlocked by playing the game or purchasing Seasonal Battle Passes.

Here is how to unlock all modern warfare 2 and warzone operators including Ghost, Soap and Price.

How to Unlock All Operators

Each carrier has a slightly different unlock requirement. Some are as simple as completing a mission in campaign mode, while others will task you with completing challenges in multiplayer matches. Here’s how to unlock all operators, divided into teams in Modern Warfare 2:

SPECGRU Operators

KORTAC Operators

Here’s how to unlock some of the operators outside of the game itself – through seasons, promotions and special packs:

Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 Season 1 Operators

Three new Operators are coming to Modern Warfare 2 as part of the Season 1 update. Zeus is the first and can be considered the main operator shown in the image below. They will be unlockable through the Battle Pass which launches on November 16.

The next step is Klaus, whose appearance has yet to be fully revealed. All we know is that they should be added at some point during Season 1.

Finally, there is Gaswho will also be added during Season 1. We don’t know exactly when, but those who have played Modern Warfare 2 Campiagn will no doubt be familiar with the character.

Zeus is coming alongside in Season 1.

How to unlock operators Messi, Pogba and Neymar Jr

That’s right, Paul Pogba, Leo Messi, and Neymar Jr. are all set to be added to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 1. Each is launching separately and can be purchased from the in-game store as part of bundles at limited time. Here are the release dates for each:

  • Neymar Jr – Monday, November 21, 2022
  • Pogba- Friday, November 25, 2022
  • Messi- Tuesday, November 29, 2022

How to Unlock Soap, Farah, Ghost, and Price Operators

If you’ve loaded Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, you’ll notice that Farah, Soap, Price, and Ghost are all available as Operators. There is a catch, however, because you will only have access to it if you own the Vault edition of the game.

Operators are included in the Red 141 Team Operator Pack. It’s…pretty expensive, bundling a bunch of exclusive skins and operators. It is possible that these operators will be available to all players later. But for now, buying the Vault Edition is the only way to get them.

The release of Warzone 2.0 is here! If you want to build a solid arsenal, we tell you how to forge a solid M4 loadout and an M16 loadout. Elsewhere, we have explanations of the Season 1 Battle Pass skins and blueprints, as well as how to unlock Operators.

How to Unlock Oni Operator

The Oni Operator is currently exclusive to those who have pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 on PlayStation platforms. In the past, these skins were made available to all players sometime after launch.

Whether that means Oni will arrive later for others remains to be seen – both for non-preorder players, as well as those on Xbox and PC.
