In 2014, the same year as the Memorial on PS4, creative director Neil Druckmann said there might be a 50/50 chance of it being made. Fast forward a year later, and Nolan North – a villain for David – said he knows Naughty Dog is working on the sequel – a comment made immediately by the studio, saying that while the Last of Us series was in high demand, work on Unchqal 4 took over – but that does not mean that it may one day. And no, don't expect a movie on The Last of Us anytime soon – so maybe a re-imagining of the first game will have to be done as Last of Us prepares for now.
