The new Team of the Week team will soon be available in EA Sports FC 24, with top-performing players from recent games getting new Ultimate Team cards and improved ratings. If you’re wondering who could benefit from a ratings boost, we’ve scoured the latest round of fixtures to find the most notable performers who could receive new TOTW cards this week.
One of the highest-rated Week 21 team cards could belong to PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé. The French striker, who could finally join Real Madrid this summer after years of speculation, scored and had an assist in the reigning Ligue 1 champions’ 2-1 win over Strasbourg on Friday. This result gives Luis Enrique’s team, currently at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, a good nine-point gap with second-placed Nice.
Another highly rated Team of the Week 21 card could go to Manchester City midfielder Rodri. The 27-year-old defensive midfielder was on the scoresheet when the Citizens beat Burnley 3-1 last week. Pep Guardiola’s side have now won their last four Premier League matches, and if they win their two games in hand they will move to the top of the EPL table. Other notable players who could receive new TOTW cards include Rodri’s former teammate İlkay Gündoğan, who is now at Barcelona, as well as Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt and Wolves striker Matheus Cunha. The latter scored a hat-trick in his team’s 4-2 defeat against Chelsea.
