One of the highest-rated team cards of Week 23 could go to Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski. The Polish marksman – who already has an overall rating of 90 in EA FC 24 – produced a match-winning performance for embattled Barca boss Xavi, who leaves the Camp Nou at the end of the season. Lewandowski scored two goals, including an injury-time penalty, as Barcelona beat Celta Vigo 2-1 at the weekend. This result puts the Catalans two points behind second-placed Girona, who have a game in hand, in the La Liga standings.
Lewandowski could be joined in the Week 23 squad by Arsenal midfielder Martin Ødegaard, who played for Barcelona’s bitter rivals Real Madrid. Ødegaard opened the scoring for Arsenal in the Gunners’ 5-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday. The result was the second major away victory in a row for Mikel Arteta’s side, who beat West Ham 6-0 the previous weekend. Other top performers who could land a place in TOTW 23 include Lille’s Jonathan David, who scored a Ligue 1 hat-trick over the weekend, and Rangers defender James Tavernier who scored two goals and assisted his team to keep a clean sheet on Sunday.
