Silent Hill 2 tips and tricks
Here are some practical ones tips and tricks for Silent Hill 2:
- Enable the “Button Icon” option in the “Interaction Icon Visibility” and Traversal Icon Visibility” parts of the “Gameplay” settings – This makes it easier to spot objects and surfaces that you can jump over.
- Combine gun and melee combat – You can save your ammo by using your melee weapon to hit enemies while they are staggering after being hit. Remember to try to aim for the head when shooting for quick takedowns, unless you want to…
- Target the legs to stagger enemies – You can also knock enemies down by shooting them in the legs, which can help you stage a quick melee attack (or allow you to run away).
- You can sneak up on certain enemies – You can kill some enemies like the Bubble Head Nurses at Brookhaven Hospital much faster by hitting them with a melee weapon while their back is turned to you. Just keep in mind that this doesn’t really work for dummy enemies, as they tend to wait in ambush for you.
- Follow James’ head – It turns its head when there is an object of interest nearby, letting you know if you missed a key item or resource when searching a room.
- Don’t forget to double tap – Follow Zombieland’s smart advice and hit enemies while they’re on the ground to make sure they’re on the ground. Really dead. Some will come back no matter how many times you hit them, but not right away.
- Break all the glass – Some cool resources like ammo and health are often hidden in cars, shops, and cabinets, so be sure to break the glass and peek inside if you need a additional help.
Good luck in Silent Hill 2! We are sure everything will be fine…
