Our essential guide to The Witcher 3 & # 39; s Hearts of Stone is an expansion, from completing every quest to unlocking all of Runewright's recipes.
If you've somehow managed to get rid of all the last full dumps on Geralt & # 39; s gargantuan vanilla adventure from earlier this year, then you're undoubtedly preparing for the first Witcher 3 & # 39; s DLC release – Hearts of Stone – later today.
It's not the biggest stage of additional content planned for this game – next year's Blood and Wine expansion should be a bit more bearable – but you can expect to get 10 hours of exposure from this original review regardless. Hearts of Stone also introduces Runewright to this game, an expert who can design all kinds of powerful weapons and weapon upgrades to help you on your journey.
We are currently working our way through all the important and secondary commands to Hearts of Stone, and building a complete guide to the new DLC that will help you deal with the biggest and most epic battle battles. You will also find a list of all the new recipes included from Runewright, and we will be updating this section of the guide regularly as we unveil new weapon launches and battle enhancements.
A quick word on our guide's structure before we start. As you play upwards, you'll find yourself fulfilling the higher demands alongside the side quests and we write our way through each of these as we go. If you use the following and previous buttons in this role, you may stumble upon certain things in order. There are two ways to start the first Witcher 3 DLC slide. If you get a saving of 30+ characters, you simply upload it. If you didn't find one, then the game will help you make your own within the new menu game section. Note, however, that you should aim for the recommended level of 32 before sticking to the new content – 64 for New Game Plus.
However, when you start the right game you will notice a new quest in your log – just head to the Seven Cats Inn south east of Novigrad and read the notice board for the ball rolling.
The Soft Touch of Evil Evil
Take a look at the Seven Cats Inn just outside Novigrad and read the notice board. When the short cutscene is complete (opening emphasis: Running Costs), follow the mark to the Garin Estate where you will find dozens of strikers. Wait for their final clips, then head upstairs and talk to the captain to find out more. As you leave the building, you will be greeted by a woman – expressing her desire in her story and will open for Rose at Red Field. the second quest.
Go to Oxenfurt and enter the drain by using a ladder. Activate your Witcher Sense as it descends through a narrow alleyway, and explore two sets of feet. Fight the Browner in the first room, then use the Witcher Sense to inspect the body near the grating in the south and east corner of the room. It enters the next room and then a cutscene will play, producing a character from Geralt's past.
Use Aard to take out the right corner of the wall with the marker head. Watch the cutscene, go down the hole, fight a few Browns, and explore the body. Go deep into the hollow of the pipes, fight the little Browners, and use the Witcher Sense to examine the remains and dead bodies. Follow the new marker and prepare for the catch battle when the next cutscene ends.
Boss star: Prince of Toss
Toad Prince is a pig to fight with. He has various attacks that will poison you, he can lock you in the tongue, he has a strong attack that does a lot of damage, and it's hard to get back as he can turn 180 degrees in the air.
However, you're in danger of the Northern Wind, the Golden Oriole, the Cursed Oil, and the Yrden, so we found the best strategy was to throw Yrden, run a few swords, strike a sword quickly, and then run around the edge of the room while he was here and teasing. the bombs of the beast.
After defeating the hips you will head out to the ferry to Ofier. During the long decline of some of the familiar faces will be redone, the weather will change for the worse, and you will eventually keep the sea away for a group of Ofieri warriors and a mage.
Make sure you re-give your armor as soon as the battle begins, and focus on getting the heroes out before facing the mage. He has teleport skills and a few minor attacks, but by installing Dxii through Axii to temporarily destroy him he should be easy to dispose of. Otherwise you can just run away – they won't follow too far.
Whatever method you choose to tackle in battle, point the marker when you're safe and wait for midnight. Naturally there is nothing suspicious about meeting a mysterious stranger in a debate area and asking him to give you your heart's desire if you're going to thank one thing, so acknowledge that and look for the mark. Work on the dialogue to complete the quest and open the next part of the story.
