Pokémon Scarlet and Purple It never stops surprising us every week with new content and really interesting challenges. This time, it was the turn of Raid Luvdisc, which is undoubtedly one of the most curious and complete challenges we have these days in the Game Freak game.

In this article we will try to answer many questions you might have regarding this challenge, the rewards and all the details we can collect related to the Teraraid of Luvdisc in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. Do you feel ready to take on this challenge?

When does the Luvdisc Teraraid event take place in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple?

The first thing we need to know is that this event will take place from February 11, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. PST until Thursday, February 15, 2024. So we still have a few days left to prepare and attend the inauguration of the said Teraincursion in person.

Teraraid Details

Pokémon Scarlet

This special event will introduce us to Pokémon Luvdisc as a formidable opponent that we will have to defeat in a special temporary raid. In fact, it will be available in 3 star and 5 star formats. It will undoubtedly be an admirable challenge to take on, but it will be far from the most complex we have had in the title.

The Pokémon will be of type Tera/Hada, we will therefore have to be ready to resist a large enemy offensive power during the confrontation. Also remember that Luvdisc is a water type in its normal form and will also have attacks of this style.

  • Luvdisc Tera will be weak against Poison and Steel types
  • Normal Luvdisc is weak against grass type and electric type.

This will be a completely acceptable challenge for trainers who are new to this type of raid.

We don’t know if Luvdisc will be available as a Shiny Pokémon during the event.

The best Pokémon we can use to manage Luvdisc

  • Lucario – This is one of the most versatile options and can give us that much-needed attack speed to take on Luvdisc. This is also always a very good option against a Tera matchup like this.
  • Empoleon – This is one of the most striking options, mainly due to its resistance and offensive potential.
