Warfield 1 Failure Class Support and Techniques

Class, Failure, support, Techniques, Warfield

All you need to know about managing the Warfield 1 Support Class.

Series hitter, Battlefield 1 sees a few changes this year, instead of staying true to what you can expect of LMG-producing blems.

Play Support is about setting up shop in the right place, focusing on setting up and raising awareness as the battle evolves on the field. And by holding down the trigger and spraying all the paintings in the air in front of you. Delicious. The support is fantastic.

As you can probably guess, we'll be looking at the support section in depth here, but when you're done make sure to check out our guidelines for Assault, Medic, Scout class and Pilot, Tanker and Cavalry classes, too.

Unique Class Support Items

We said Super didn't see many changes in World War 1, but there were actually some class gadgets popping up. The addition of the Limpet Charge and Repair Tool, in particular, adds an optional emphasis to the battle of the car that was previously seen in the previous Engineer War section.

  • Murder – High Explosion
  • Carcass – Air Explosion
  • Ammo Pouch
  • Ammo Crate
  • Limpet charge
  • Adjustment Tool

Class support strategies

First, it's worth remembering the name of your category: Support. This class is about staying with your team, and interacting with colleagues. As we mentioned in our Medic class guide, one of the best ways to do that is to set up shop in a nearby Medic Cooking Area, both of you can recreate each other with Ammo and Medical Crates while holding enemies.

Either way, Supporters make a good choice to go back and help your team. It's not often that there are situations when setting up LMGs, which are usually slower – in fact, in Warfield 1 they actually get more accuracy in longer fire times – where taking the Mortar route and the Ammo Crate combo is a great way to keep your team in and out defenses of opposition.

Most of the time our security scenes are protected by the evolving and accurate Mortar fire – just make sure you use Air Burst, Explosive types that are reserved for vehicles only.
