How to Unlock the Hemlock ISO in Warzone 2.0
The ISO Hemlock is unlocked via the Season 2 Battle Passon the free track, accessible to all.
Specifically, you will need to use level skips to unlock different sectors on the Battle Pass map and reach sector B11 – the Hemlock ISO is the reward for unlocking the previous four items.
Once unlocked, you are then free to equip and use the Hemlock ISO in any of your custom loadouts.
It’s worth noting though that once Season 2 is over and the Battle Pass is no longer available, the unlock requirements for this weapon will change – based on recent Call of Duty titles, there will instead be a challenge to complete for the unlock.
Warzone 2.0 ISO Hemlock best loadout and attachments
If you’re a fan of the M4, the Hemlock ISO should sound pretty familiar to you – it’s an assault rifle that generally feels similar to use, even if some of its stats are slightly lower.
However, by compensating for this, it also has a unique look that – at the time of this writing – no other assault rifle has access to.
It is the ability to be customized with two different ammo types: 5.56 and .300 Subsonic, the latter of which adjust multiple weapon stats and hide “kill skulls” when taking down enemies – a nice feature if you’re taking a stealth approach.
Depending on the combat situation you find yourself in, your preference and choice of attachments – and ammo – will vary, but we’re primarily focused on maintaining the effective mid-range Hemlock ISO, with one or two options that might help you if you re entering more long range combat engagements.
Here are the best Warzone 2.0 ISO Hemlock loadouts and attachments:
- Optical: Cronen Mini Red Dot OR Hybrid Firepoint
- Barrel: Fielder-T50 OR Cipher-121
- Ammunition: .300 BLK Armor Piercing OR 5.56 High Velocity / Hollowpoint
- under the barrel: VX Pineapple, Operator Foregrip OR TV Wrecker Grip
- Muzzle: Echoless-80 | OR Stock: Mod without stock ISO
This weapon can be taken in multiple directions, suitable for either mid- to long-range engagements or closer – potentially more stealthy – approaches.
When it comes to optics, preference is often key and so to keep things simple we recommend the Cronen Mini Red Dot view that can be used however you like to play.
Alternatively, if you want something more flexible, the Hybrid Firepoint optic will give you what the Cronen gives you, but with the ability to switch to a 4.5x magnification lens, allowing you to aim at enemies further away.
Of course, you can always ditch the optics and take another accessory if you get on well with the iron sights.
As for the second attachment we recommend, this is where your choice will dictate a bit more playstyle on the stats side.
If it’s longer range engagements you want to build the Hemlock for, the Fielder-T50 the barrel will be a big boost to your efforts, increasing damage range, bullet speed, and recoil control.
If you prefer to take a stealthier approach, the Cipher-121 barrel comes with built-in sound suppression, while improving recoil control and foregoing the need to build specifically for a suppressor.
That said, this precludes any choice of muzzle, so unless you want to build at close range and choose the stock we recommend, any of the laser sights or loader choices can work well as an alternative here.
The ammo attachment slot is the selling point of the ISO Hemlock, offering some pretty notable benefits and trade-offs if you choose to lean into it.
Subsonic .300 BLK rounds give you clean kills that conceal the “killed skulls” of these enemies, preventing that player’s allies from seeing where they were when they were taken out.
If you take the Armor Piercing variant of the .300 BLK cartridgesyou’ll not only receive that intrinsic feature perfect for stealth playstyles, but you’ll also gain buffs to bullet penetration and damage to enemies and vehicles, all of which can be especially useful in the varied vehicular playground. of Warzone, cover and terrain.
This leads to some trade-offs such as bullet speed and rate of fire, which will likely be a drawback if you’re building for longer range combat – as such you might want to consider the standard high range cartridges. speed of 5.56.
Alternatively, you can choose either the Hollow point of 5.56 or .300 BLK option that offers bonus stopping power – and damage if you go for the .300 – but choose based on what stats you want to build more of.
Moving on to our recommendation for the weapon’s fourth attachment, there are a few options to consider.
The first is the VX Pineapple underbarrel which is generally a solid choice for any assault rifle, increasing recoil stability and walking stability with hip-fire recoil control and accuracy – its only downsides are reduced movement speed and Aim down sight speed (ADS).
If you’d rather not reduce ADS speed and don’t mind not getting that recoil stability buff, Operator Foregrip isn’t a bad shout – but if you don’t want any inconvenience with just buffs for hip-firing accuracy and aim for walking stability, be sure to choose the TV Wrecker Grip.
To top off the build of the weapon with the fifth and final attachment, it again depends on the desired build.
If you didn’t choose the Cipher-121 and stealth is important to you, the Echoless-80 The muzzle option is what we recommend, offering sound suppression with increases in bullet speed, damage range, and recoil smoothness, with only a few downsides in ADS speed and range stability. aimed.
If stealth isn’t how you’d like to ride the Hemlock, maybe close combat is more your thing? If so, look no further than the Mod without ISO stock option for the Stock mount slot, emphasizing handling and mobility, but with a decrease in accuracy and recoil control.
While these are the attachments we recommend, with so many attachments and options – as well as the stat tweak feature that lets you further tailor a weapon to your desired playstyle – it’s definitely worth worth mixing and matching with what you find most comfortable.
Warzone 2.0 ISO Hemlock best class build, perk set and gear
Depending on how you choose to build the Hemlock ISO – whether it’s mid to long or short range – can determine your approach to the next setup.
For our recommendation, we’re looking at offering recommendations that will complement the ISO Hemlock, or fill in the gaps with a perk like Overkill.
Here are the best perks and amenities for the ISO Hemlock:
- Benefits Package: Custom – Overkill/Scavenger, Double Time, Fast Hands, Quick Fix
- Secondary (if Overkill): Lined KV / Signal 50 | (if no Overkill): .50GS / X13 Auto
- Deadly: Semtex
- Tactical: Shock Stick
We recommend that perks for this class be equipped manually via a personalized packagebut if you haven’t unlocked them all yet, the pre-built Weapons Specialist or Commando Perk Packs worth checking out until you can manually equip all the perks.
For the first advantage, we lean towards one or the other Exaggerated Or Scavenger.
The former will allow you to pick up a primary weapon as a secondary weapon, while the latter will allow you to scavenge ammo and armor plate from dead players.
Really the choice here is whether you want a backup weapon that could cover a more combat specific range, or rest assured that you’ll be able to keep yourself stocked up with ammo and armor – both are equally good on their own, but we’re leaning towards recommending Scavenger as it’ll likely keep you in the fight longer.
Unless you want to blast your way through battle royale with Overkill and Scavenger together, our recommendation for your second perk is Double time.
With this perk, you will have a doubled duration for your tactical sprint, as well as a 30% buff to crouch movement speed, which will maintain your mobility.
Regarding the third advantage, Fast hands is what we recommend, further increasing your mobility and maneuverability – a good choice on its own, but will also help with Overkill’s second primary thanks to its weapon switch speed buff.
For the fourth and final benefit, Quick Fix is a great shout because it will keep you in the fight longer, activating health regeneration not only on every kill, but also every time you start inserting an armor plate.
Depending on whether or not you chose Overkill, your options will be determined in regards to which secondary you can choose.
If you go for Overkill, pack it Bordered KV shotgun or Signals 50 The Sniper Rifle can be an effective backup, each relying on a very particular engagement range that can balance your build for the ISO Hemlock attachment.
If you are not equipping Overkill though, the choice is ultimately yours, but the .50GS And Car X13 handguns are both good choices – the first in terms of stopping power, and the second in terms of rate of fire.
In terms of lethal and tactical grenades, the choice is ultimately yours, but we’re going with it. Semtex And shock stick respectively.
